Getting ready for the first leg-shaving of the season. :heehee: I don't shave during the summer b/c it's too darn hot to wear pants instead of shorts, and my white legs scream OMG THAT DUDE SHAVES HIS LEGS I BET HE'S A CROSSDRESSER. (Okay, maybe not. But that's how it makes me feel, like a have a neon sign pointing at me.)

In any case, I'm really looking forward to having nice smooth legs again. I feel sexy just thinking about it. :)

I had the same thoughts as you regarding shaving my legs, but the only person that ever said anything to me was my daughter, and now she knows all about me :) Look in Beauty Club - there's lots of threads in there about shaving arms, legs, chest - everything. Believe me, there is nothing like putting tights, pantyhose or stockings on freshly-shaven legs!

Leyna, I suggest that during the next shorts season you look at the legs of the men around you. A lot of them are hairless!

While doing this, consider how weird you feel checking out mens' legs. That's how all those other guys feel about that so they aren't really paying attention to your legs! :)

There is nothing better than smooth legs!! I have worn shorts during warmer times of the year and no one has ever said anything to me. But I do feel a lot more comfortable during the winter months. Anybody got the best method for keeping them smooth? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Move to the great white north of Canada, and you will have a longer shaving season. Mine started the end of September and will last until the end of March. You have plenty of time to grow the hair back before shorts weather in May. I'm a lumberjack and I'm, ok,.........LOL. Forgive me Monty Python!

So true! LOL! And I don't think the other girls understand the neon whiteness that are my legs. It's not so much that people will notice that they are shaved, it's that they are SO FRACKING BRIGHT. I could power a small city with the light reflected off my legs.

I just started shaving mine this October (first time), and it will be really hard to let the hair grow back. It feels so good to have freshly shaved legs! I have been showing off a new tattoo that I got on my lower leg, and no-one has said a word about my leg being shaved...I may just stay hairless!

It's kinda the other way round for me. I started shaving in the Summer, i ride bikes so have an excuse ( Not a good one, i don't race bikes ) but in the Winter, while I still ride, the 'tradition" of cyclists shaving doesn't seem so applicable. Yes I'm covered up, ( tights and so on ) but I get changed in the locker room at work, and i know people see my legs, which grow whiter by the day.

Mine are smooth year around, I don't care what anybody thinks if they see my smooth legs in the summer. Nobody stares at a person's legs anyway unless that preson has a figure like Lady Gaga.

That's exactly what I was thinking the other day! My SO stops shaving her legs practically altogether while I start doing it. In the winter I definitely shave mine more often than she does hers :P

Christine shaves (furtively) all year long, neck to toe. It took three years of slowly removing hair until it did not seem unusual to my S/O to be shaved clean. Now, if it grows back (it won't) she would notice. Good riddance, I look at pictures when I did not shave and am utterly appalled. I think all the time about going on to HRT or doing electrolysis so that some of this would disappear.

So true that stockings feel so good on freshly shaved legs. I shaved just yesterday and shaved again today because I'm going out tonight. I want my nude (light tan) stockings with lots of lace around the thigh to be as smooth as possible and my legs to have that tight slick feelings. Stockings seems to move back and forth a little as one walks if those little hair stubs are kept at bay. After shaving in a hot shower a I enjoy rubbing on a thin coat of johnson's baby oil and waiting about 20 minutes before slipping on the stockings. Great for the skin and the legs look shinny under nude stockings. Just a side note: The entire time I have been writing this reply I have been sitting next to one of my flight attendants in the Lexington Airport waiting on our aircraft. She has awesome legs and is wearing tan stockings or pantyhose with 4 " pumps. I'm the captain. Really looking forward to go out in Atlanta tonight.

This thread has perfect timing. I've been wound up in work for the past two months and have done very little dressing, a by product of which has been hairy legs. So today I went out and bought two tubes of Nair.

Piora, the only person I'm worried about questioning my shaved legs is my daughter. How old was your daughter when she found out? Was there any repercussions?

It was all good, and I am very relieved. Although, when she first noticed my shaved legs, I tried to diffuse it by saying how much I "hated hairy legs". Which I did, but not for the reasons I was implying! :) If you have a look at the thread, you'll see that it was a very good experience, and no 'weirdness' exists between us.

I am shaving my legs regularly these days. I don't have a lot of hair to begin with, which helps. Rubbing Sweet Pea lotion on my legs after shaving makes me feel like I'm wearing nylons, even underneath my "boy" clothes. Keeps the skin nice and soft, too.
