I came out! (to one person ;-) )

I recently received a facebook friend request from an old girlfriend from about 7 years ago. She is completely separated from anyone I know socially or professionally at this time. We have been chatting on yahoo and I decided I wanted to let her know about Mia and see what she thought.

I told her today that I wanted to tell her something which I have never told anyone else I know from my regular life and then explained my cross dressing to her. She was really excited for me and thought I looked really pretty :-)

I am so excited that I have someone else to chat with who I can confide in about Mia. Just wanted to get that out there.

That is wonderful! I hope she turns out to be someone who you can talk to and really tell her how you feel and that she is supportive to your needs as a friend. There isn't someone like that for most of us. Those that have a supportive SO or friend are so blessed.

Congrats Mia! It does feel so liberating doesn't it? I know the first time I told anyone, it was almost like the first breath of Spring.
