heres the problem, you see i have been into weight lifting since high school and have grew a taste for it alote to a point to where i took it to a bodybuilding standpoint. i love working out and would like to look like a pro bodybuilder which i have gotton close to (last year i was 250lbs at low BF-currently 205lbs BF unknown) anyway i leaned way down to 160lbs (im 5'10")and when i dressed up i looked just like a girl i had the toned body, full glutes hamstrings, flat tight stomach with a slight sight of abs/tan. at a very low BF level DAMM I LOOKED HOT!!!..... but yet i wanted to be big . i am very knowlegable in diet and training and the only thing lacking for me actually going to the pro level is the use of steroids and HGH etc. you see i have this deal that i want to look like a women have the slim physique etc. but yet i want to be big and muscular which then of course i look less like a female which i dont like to see in the mirror! is this a normal? i know i cant have both but maybe someone has some viewpoints on this matter that can help me out?? thank you

I would say you can still work out to achieve your muscle tone but stay away from the steroids! It causes too many problems later in life.

Also enjoy the balancing act! It will make you more complete!

Well Lacethighs, ya gotta do what truly makes you happy!! If you are shooting for a semi-professional body builder I don't think you're gonna enjoy the fact that it is going to be very difficult to try to live a dual lifestyle. But congrats on the weight loss and fitness. But really seriously consider the long run. And furthurmore, my brother did the body building thing and used some form of steroids for a bit. He has regretted that part for the rest of his life. Choices are yours gal, hope you make the right ones and always be safe!!! Good luck!! Love ya! XXX+?

Well the connecting thread may well be a desire to look good. And like a number of us, you sound like you're happy switching between your masculine and feminine sides.

Unfortunately, as you've pointed out bulking up will make it harder to look good en femme. So you'll probably need to decide whether getting big is worth the trade off.

Two things to consider. First, messing around with steroids and HGH is just as dangerous as messing around with estrogen. Second, if you step back from the body building world, most people think pro body builders look more than a bit freakish and not that attractive. Being fit and buff is one thing, looking like comicbook character is another.

I know what your dealing with. I am probably older than you (56) but I still love to lift. Part of me wants to stay big and part wants to be femme. I continue to lift but vary my workout. I'm more into lighter weights higher reps right now. This gives my the cut look but I'll change my routine in a couple of weeks and go to the lower reps higher weights routine for strength.

If you're trying to pass lifting will hurt but if you are not trying to then no problems. As the others have said don't use HGH or Steriods, if you are as knowledgeable as you say then you know better. I've seen pics of budy builder who dress and they don't look bad, some are very attractive, like a female bodybuilder.

If I had to choose CDing or lifting I'd keep lifting but it would be difficult not to dress. Feel free to IM me perhaps we can discuss training. Good luck
