Soon Cissy will be on her holiday hiatus - no dressing up till 2012, that sounds so far away! Got to wondering, during prolonged spells of maledom, how many of us:
1. Moisturize? I do!
2. Watch our girlish figures? I don't! After two weeks of eating like a guy, a crash diet will be one of my new year's resolutions...
How about you [-]guys[/-] gals?

Pretty much ditto.
Since being diagnosed this year as Type 2 diabetic (just at the starting edge), I have managed to keep my weight in check, as I have reduced my sugar WAY back. Consequently, I will probably not be too much over the mark come the New Year.

1. Since I spend a lot of time in the sun during the warmer months daily moisturizing after the morning shower has been a part of my routine for years. Now, it just has other benefits too.
3. I have always tried to watch my male figure and now that I try to work harder on my feminine figure (most of the time), which is a continual fight that I sometimes lose, especially during these end of year holidays.
Adding on to your list:
4. I regularly care for my nails and have clear nail polish on every day, speaking of which I need to redo mine today.
5. I always keep my trimmed feminine eyebrows trimmed
6. Use my trusty and beloved epilator on a regular basis to maintain the clean look
7. Have started using anti-wrinkle creams to try to fight the inevitable
8. Keep my head hair shorter than I did when always in man-mode for a better wig fit
9. Regularly pluck the unwanted and uncontrollable wild and nor so wondrous ear and nose hairs, in a losing battle.
Who has more to add?

Nothing else in my routine changes.

Crossdressing for me is like breathing and I do not think I could take a hiatus from it and maintain my sanity, for me it is a necessity not a choice and the only time I feel whole and normal is when I'm listening to my heart and following it's directions and desires. The clothes are a very small part of a much larger experience that equals pampering myself in ways usually associated with being female as well as behavior that leaves me feeling sexy and beautiful instead of strong and handsome.
Certainly loving care of my skin, hair, nails and thinking deeply about the foods I eat and maintaining a weight that flatters my form creating the desired result in my eyes is of a concern but also the nourishment and protection of my soul and mind with scents of jasmine tea and cherry blossum lotions, music and books that are uplifting, friends of delicate, geniune and gentle dispostions, Long hot scented baths with a candle or two burning, a home that wraps me in it's embrace and the aroma of bread or pies baking in the oven. My dogs massive head resting in my lap has I run my long red nails through his hair as we both listen to the crackling of the logs in the fireplace. Crossdressing is a state of mind that than creates ones own personal interpretation of it and the clothes only need to be a small part if we expand our imagination and encompass everything that has been held from us for being born male not female.
A forced hiatus would be a good time to delve more deeply into the feminine experience, something many women even neglect.

I am new to the realization of my CD nature, and under dressing will not stop for the holiday. My wife and I are just now working out the operational guidelines so I dont spook her too much. i am moisturizing now and will be removing body hair before Christmas. I am just beginning to develop a routine. wonderful experience.

1. Yes, year round.
2. Conversation of the century for me. Quit smoking 2 months ago. Feel like shit and gaining weight so staying off the cigarettes is first, then I can tackle the extra weight I pick up .

No to number 1.
Yes to number 2, or going from close to 5,000 to 10'000 calories on my bad emotional binge days followed by severe 1600 calorie and binge exercise days.

1. Being a diabetic I have to moisturize a least 2 times a day, more in the winter, to explain my skin gets so dry I will scratch large wounds in my sleep if I do not.
2. As for diet I am always on a diabetic diet, but do slip up at times. it really sucks when you feel like you are about to black out because of the diet, but yet have not acheived the weight you want in my case my target is 160 lbs, currently stuck at 180 lbs.
Being the cook for the holidays does not help either.

1. Mosturize as much as I can. (not enough)
2. I have a guy figure. 6' 196#. ...my Dr. wants me at 188, let me tell you those 8 pounds are like asking the Pope not to pray!

My wife and I travel all the time, often for a month or more. No dressing at all due to the places we go around the world. Yes, I mosturize every day and at night before bed. I most cases to still wear nighties to bed and my toes are painted. No make up at all. I am usually so busy doing photography and editing at night that I survive without problems. Just keep busy and enjoy what you are doing and don't worry about it.
