View Full Version : There's nothing like a good business trip

I know others disagree but I love airport security. I just got back from a 5 day business trip (Louisville KY). Every minute I wasn't working I was dressed as female self and loving life. Airport security called for a "female" pat-down in both directions. The tight airport security also means no chance of getting bashed by an ignorant troglodyte. The picture in the knee length skirt and boots was taken when I got to my hotel room. The other picture (black turtleneck, long blue skirt) I took before going out to dinner another day. In general I spent the 2 travel days (mon and fri) completely en femme; airport, rental cars, restaurants, etc. The three work days (t-r) I dressed as soon as I got back to the hotel after work and before going out for the evening. I even went to a small local theater for a Christmas play. It was great. Everyone treated me with warmth and courtesy and I had a great time. I tried hard to find someone to hang out with but no luck. Going out in public the first time is damned scary but it gets a lot easier. For me it got much easier once I got a handle on dressing (including makeup) like a middle aged woman instead trying to be a sexy teenager (hard to miss that look on a middle aged genetic male).

Susan, I think you're right - its a lot easier to blend in when you're dressed in a manner that is appropriate in terms of age, situation and body type. I love those short tight skirts as much as the next person, but your approach works much better for us mature ladies.

Melinda! There's a fine looking lady there! Make no mistake! Security didn't make one! Hugs!
