i have several stashes... in a dusty gym bag under my bed, i hope that by keeping it dusty and in a place where mom's asthma might kick in, it would dissuade her from going there or cleaning underneath my bed. i also keep some nylons, a wig, gloves, and my heels in 2 locked drawers. the keys to which are hidden together elsewhere. i keep black or dark colored tights and gstrings under my socks and undies. my femme stuff being dark and my cabinet not having enough light to see everything, i hope that if someone opens or even rummages though it, they wont see the nylons. lastly i might have an unopened pack of pantyhose in between my folded shirts.
so where do you keep them or can you share a safe place where no one else would look?

There really is no place in your house that your mom won't look. It's her house after all. I would assume that she will find your stash eventually. You should probably come up with a cover story for when that happens. Of course, she may not say anything even if she does find them. She will be just as embarrassed as you and may try to avoid speaking about it at all.

Hiding a stash from your mother and hiding a stash from your wife of many years are two different things. Your mother will always be your mother no matter what and you can say you were "experimenting". Your wife might not remain your wife if she finds your "stash" and she might take your children, house, car, boat, motorcycle, and future earnings or penshion when she leaves. And tell all your friends, boss, and neighbors.
So - My stash is in an outside storage building in a place where you have to climb a ladder to get to it. I've never known my wife to climb a ladder.

In the closet, neatly arranged in drawers and hangers. I have a large piece of felt that I use for photography (backdrop) overlapping everything but obviously, if someone pulled down the felt, everything would be in plain sight. I suppose I rely on trusting that my roommates won't go snooping around my stuff and I'm pretty sure they can be trusted. Either that or they already know but are pretty good at keeping their knowledge a secret.

Being an old curmudgeon and living alone I don't need to hide anything. My clothes hang openly in the closet. I even have a few pairs of panties hanging there so that I can admire
the lovely pastel colors and for ease of access.

I have one stash. Everything together. Don't know if that's a good idea. Hidden in a box of old computer games, underneith them all. Olga Nightgowns, Maxi dresses, Makeup, Wigs, High Heels etc. Nobody has eve looked in there, at least to my knowlage. That's what I'm doing at the moment, now I'm back at my Dad's place for a while. When I move out again, into a flat, I won't have to worry about hiding anything so much.

OMG! That's the ultimate nightmare scenario. If your wife happens to be an understanding person and tolerant of who you are, you won't lose everything. However, it's a shame that some people's wives will do just that and leave you, possibly with your kids etc. I've heard a story like that before and I feel SO sorry for that poor guy. Hope in the future that I, and every other CD, won't end up in that situation.

In my closet and drawers mixed in with my regular stuff. My room is on the second floor and my parents rarely ever come upstairs. And even if they did they aren't the type of people to look through my stuff. But even if they did my girlfriend keeps a lot of her stuff here and I'd just use the excuse that its her's.

Now I keep it in my closet and dresser. When I lived with my mom, I tried to hide it, but either my mom or dad found it.
off site, Storage locker, not cheap, but secure and with a wonderful wife who does not approve, it is best.

Right in the open! In my closet and drawers! I live alone! But it wouldn't matter, 'cause I'm proud who I am! I can understand the reasons for hiding from moms! But beware! Mothers know all!!! Hugs!

It's getting harder, and harder! I'm up to 3 "copy paper" boxes, in the garage loft, and I have 2 old jackets, covering all my stuff on hangers,-- my skirts, and tops, in a basement closet. I just keep buying new things, lol! I really need my own room, but, that's not gonna happen!:daydreaming:

I don't stash. I just have my things in my bedroom along with my other half's (that's my male side) stuff. One of the advantages of living in my own place. I don't hide stuff from visitors either. My grandson picked up a necklace I'd left lying in the lounge this morning and said 'that's nice'. Bless him. He's fourteen and his favourite colour is pink....

as a teen i hid them all sorts of places: inside of other clothes, underneath the dresser, in my guitar caseses, (had alot!) under my matress, behind my books inthe bookcase, and so on. now that i have my own place kinda (single dorm room) i keep them on hangers, or in the "drag bag" in my room.

i can always say that it's my gf's and im hiding them for 'sentimental' value :D that'd work for one stash but if she finds them all then i need something craftier. mom will probably ask why she wears size 11w heels.

My wife does not approve of my cross dressing. She knows I have women's clothing, although she does not know the extent of the wardrobe. Where does one conceal eighty dresses and over four hundred slips and other unmentionables and twelve pairs of heels, etc? In Plain Sight. My wardrobe is kept in sixteen zerox boxes stacked in the storage room along with numerous other boxes of stuff not associated with cross dressing.
Once the disclosure of cross dressing has been made and at least tolerated, I suggest not throwing it in a wife's face. Of course, if my wife was accepting we would have to buy a larger home with a bedroom devoted to Stephanie. I'd love to be able to hang my dresses and slips (not all 400) in a closet.

Four or five staches definately make it more likely for someone to "stumble" across your items. Why not put all your stuff in the locked drawers? Or do you secretly desire to get caught?

My clothes are safely exposed to my wife and I to see. From the beginning I have told my SO when she asked what my fetish was and brought over some items, then eventually brought them all out. She complimented me on my wardrobe and her close friend saw them also. Caught my SO off guard and she spilled the beans. Her friend was really taken back by how in style I am. My SO is not one to lie. When something comes about as topic, shes hard to hide it. So in short a friend of hers knows because my SO was going to give her friend a fav pair of bell bottom stripped pants and I told my SO to not give it to her because I still love to wear them. Her friend threw them at me with a angry look and said, "Heres your pants you wanted". I gladly took them and hung them up and thanked her.
My kids have no idea. My oldest saw my blatform closed toe heels and thought they were my SO's. When my daughter saw what size they were she asked her my why are they so big. Mom said they fit her and that was the end of that. So I'm still waiting for both my kids to find out their dad is a CD'er. Thats another topic of discussion. Lol.

Girl that was very funny!
My clothing 'stash' consists of a matching Jordache luggage set (3) with everything neatly folded or rolled up and separated according to category.
The largest case contains all of my jeans, blouses, tee's, skirts, longsleeve tops, sweaters and several pairs of shoes.
The next smaller case holds all my lingerie, nylons, breast forms and wigs.
Finally the smallest which is the cosmetic bag contains of course all of my cosmetics, skin care, powders and the like.
All of the above remains securely locked in the trunk of my classic hot rod that is double covered and parked in the yard. And only I have the keys.
Early this year I organized everything, got rid of old stuff that I wasn't using and made sure that there were no small stashes anywhere else.
Now whenever I travel I simply load up my extra luggage and away I go! No muss no fuss!

so where do you keep them or can you share a safe place where no one else would look?
I would suggest that once you get your own place, that you don't keep this part of you stashed away. Is Cding an important part of you, something that you are happy & proud of? If so, you should share, not hide this unique part of who you are to whoever you get seriously involved with. Healthy long term relationships have a foundation of 100% honesty. Too many GG's have experienced heartache & anguish due to Cding deception from their partners. Hiding Cding is not fair, as it doesn't allow them to make an informed choice before major life altering changes such as marriage & children. Read some of their posts. The Loved Ones section is a good place to check out. Wouldn't you only want to be with someone who knows & accepts every part of you? It seems to me hiding from your SO for the rest of your life would get old & stressful very fast. Being open from the start avoids SO resentment from past lying, that may effect her comfort level about your Cding.

I have my things in the trunk of my car in two gym bags. I just say I have alot of sports gear if anyone asks. If I get much more I will either need a bigger car or another solution. I have tried storing my stash in the house but I was discovered twice so I retreated to the car.

When I was 6-12 I kept my "stash" between the mattresses. Mom couldn't understand why I always wanted to make my own bed.
Eventually I moved to the bottom of a drawer, where I had configured a fake bottom.
Then I finally move to a pillow case in the closet - where my mom found it (I had hoped she would - so we could talk - but she didn't want to talk about it).
Today, Debbie's closet is bigger than Rex's, and into both dressers. Rex has 2 pair of underwear for medical exams (which I don't even bother with anymore), and about 6 favorite T-shirts which I never wear, but keep for sentimental value.
If you want to find boys clothes, you have to look in Lee's Closet (my wife).

I don't have to worry about my wife. Only my kids. For me the stuff is in a hockey bag, up high in the garage. People stay away from sports bags unless you have brothers. Dam shame my stuff is in the garage.... in a few years it will be cleaned, ironed and ready to wear in the closet!

My stuff is now in the big closet next to my normal and even bigger closet :) - living alone. In the past it was on top of my closet and I was often in panic, because my mother did much cleaning in my room and so on, ...
by the way, I do not know what would have happened, if my mother found this stuff - it would have been disturbing for her for sure and changed much.

When I first began dressing I kept my stash in the closet, in a locked trunk. I've lived alone since starting up, so over time I got a bit lax. At the moment I've got bra's hanging off doorknobs, a few gowns/nighties puddled across my bedroom floor and my cosmetics on the bathroom counter-top. As my comfort increases it seems like hiding it is the real burden :idontknow:

Just moved everything, as limited as it is right now, to dresser drawers and closet. two blouses, one sweater shawl, one pants, 3 skinny stretch jeans, 4 pair of shoes (seems in the right proportion). Threw out a heck of a lot of man junk, yuck. Keep 3 Tommy John microfiber undershirts, which I like in drab (but am liking the cami I bought Monday, and am going that way now I think), and some male socks, until next week when I hope to replace most of them.

Years ago I had a stash in a rubbermaid storage container and that went on for a few years and my wife found it and said I might as well put the stuff in drawers and on hangers so I knew what I had and to keep the things that needed hanging nice. What a relief. She knew I liked womens intimates and had worn hers many times and she was all for me having my own and leaving hers to her. I can't tell you how great it is not to have to sneak around. Just be me.

I'm working with split residences right now. At my apartment during the school season, I keep all of my shoes on a rack in the closet and my skirts in a drawer. At home, everything goes in a Rubber Maid tub that is in plain sight. It is the same color as the tubs that hold my excess Army gear, so my wife doesn't even think about it. I'm not completely into CDing - mostly a shoes and skirts kind of girl. She did find my platform pumps one day when I got lazy and stuffed them under the bed. I probably could have had a discussion with her, but was unprepared at the time.

My wife knows about my cross dressing and supports me with it. That being said, I don't have to hide my female clothes. I do go out dressed enfemme every so often. I keep all of my sexy feminine female clothing in my closet in our bedroom. I keep my lingerie and nylon stockings in the dresser in the bedroom. I also keep my high heels in the bedroom. I have a make up bag that I keep all of my make up, lipstick, etc in. I have so many different dresses that I have to keep some of my dresses in a closet in one of our spare bedrooms.

I have four rubbermaid bins in the attic, a larger black bin with lots of shoes :) and a small carry on size bag I keep a few outfits in. There is another trash bag with older clothes I don't often wear anymore. I learned long ago after a purge I won't find the stuff I really like again. I decked a good portion of my attic and this is behind a huge stack of old empty boxes, you have to walk around to see them. I have leggings in my drawer and wear them sometimes, they are about all I can get away with around here. I do find things that were stashed around every once in a while it is like I won a prize :)

My case exactly
When I had just a few pair of panties, I had a box containing cowboy boots, and stuffed them in the boots.
For the longest time, everything fit in the bottom of one of my large drawers in my armoire.
Then, I started ordering a few things on line, and stored most of my things in boxes hidden in my home office closet.
My wife then discovered a box of bras and panties, which was the tip of the iceberg, just before I was heading out of town for and extended assignment. Afraid that she would go on a search and destroy while I was out of town, I moved about half a dozed small boxes to a (5x5) storage locker, and left enough behind so that if she found it she would think she got it all.
My collection grew slowly for a while, until I transferred my stuff to a nicer, more permanent (5x5) storage locker. I built a nice shelving system in the storage locker so I could pull out boxes one at a time. I re-sorted the items into boxes with panties, bras, casual, dresses, etc. all separate. I also got a rolling closet for my hanging stuff and a small dresser.
My storage locker is now almost full, and my new purchases are in boxes overflowing my office again. It's time to reorganize again.
I keep a duffle bag fully equipped with clothes and makeup, so if I have and O&A opportunity, it's something I can sneak into the car and dress there.

I keep my makeup in the top drawer of my dresser. Nobody really goes into my room when I'm not home and since school is out until February, I'm home a lot anyways.
I wish I had my own place. I'd be able to dress for much longer periods. As is now, I can't even leave my own bathroom without fear of being caught. :(

I'm in a live/work office, and my most active dressing is at work in the evenings and weekends. One of the girls in the office loves to rearrange closets, so I keep most of my stash in a locker in the sauna room, but I often have one or two pieces in the closet. The office girl has found them before, but they're "inconclusive evidence", so she's made hints, but isn't sure, about the boss being a lady....which is just about right!

Keeping hidden seems to be an unfortunate way of life for many of us. Most of my stuff is hidden away in rubbermaid bins buried under thing in our upstairs crawl space that dont get used too often. Like many of us I hope, pray and keep my fingers crossed that no one goes snooping. But recently I have started undersdressing so some of my panties, leggings and tights are right in my dresser with rest of my cloths ( where I wish I could say they belong ) the gf knows and is accepting so as long as the kids dont snoop I am fine. Closets should be for hanging and displaying cloths not for us to hide in.

I used to keep mine in a bag stashed in the spare tire well under the trunk floor of my car.

Part of my income comes from helping people either conceal or protect their personal stuff or find out what they want to uncover about other people in their life, :). I believe we had a thread on this someplace on the forum.
I live alone, but I still do not leave anything I do not want to be public knowledge just sitting around in plain view.
For what it is worth…here are a few random tips on “hiding” things…
- Anything you “store” in a car could potentially come back to haunt you in a vehicle search if you are stopped by law enforcement.
- Do not hide anything at “eye level”. That is the first “level” people search for things.
- False storage areas are easy to make in a closet by simply making false walls on each short end of the closet walls. (do both sides equally, and floor to ceiling).
- Insects and rodents are attracted to some of the cosmetic odors. Seal everything in air-tight (plastic) bags. Extreme heat (attics) and cold (outside storage) affects cosmetics.
- The fewer storage locations, the less risk of discovery.
- Keep the “retrieval” process in mind when you select a spot. You will be accessing it frequently.
- Not a good idea to do “mixed laundry” (fem clothes with family clothes). Items like panties, etc. have a tendency to cling to other clothes and turn up later…

can never hide anything from mom.
from the title i thought you were trying to hide drugs. mom will find them too.
but then my mom knows and even buy things for loni. so why hide.
no wife, no girl friend (at this time). so no hiding anything. but with all i have it would be very hard read expensive to try and hide it all.
so i do not even try to.worst part is just finding a place to hang it all up to keep the wrinkles out of them.

...In two nondescript briefcases, more or less in plain sight:
- one at home in the basement, stored next to a couple of other old briefcases and other of "my junk"
- one in my office, between my desk and the wall.
The combination to both is 2-8-4 & 7-6-5. If anyone reading this suspects it's me, try it! Let me know if you find bras - we should talk over beers. ;)

I have a couple of pairs of mens undies I hide in the drawer with my bras and panties.
A shirt is hanging up with my blouses, I think.
I remember seeing a couple of pairs of trousers hanging up between my slacks and jeans.
Shorts. I have to look 3 times carefully. Don't choose the yellow or pink ones.
I have shoes and boots in the bottom of the wardrobe but which is which (Must remember to pick the ones with the low heels.
Have I got the wrong end of the thread here? Again?
It is a fact of life and I sympathise with those who have to stash. May the new year bring change for you.

I keep all my F clothes in Wal-Mart and Target bags............. right in front of my M clothes that are in my... Dresser? Why am I suddenly blanking on that word? Anyways, yeah, they're not really hidden, but no one goes to that part of my room, so it's all okay.

Mi wife's panty drawer is my stash. She doesn't like it, though.

I live alone so my clothes are in the same closet as my male clothes...one side for Jessica, one side for the male me. Jessica also has her own drawers in the dresser.

Lets see. My dresses are hanging in my closet that doesn't have doors. My panties, bras, nylons, chemises and silk gowns are in my dresser drawer. Right below that are my tanktops and swimsuits. All the rest of my stuff, my man things, are sort of just flung everywhere. Dirty stuff lands in the hamper. ;D
