Great story. Interesting that you had no problem going to school to look for the event dressed like that and then walk around town, and yet were not yet ready to go to a club where most find a safer zone for going out dressed. I have noticed that same trait in myself and others, where one of us has more courage to do one thing that us others want to do but yet haven't (a real bra fitting for me), or trying on women's shoes in male mode (a close friend of mine).
