Should this site have a forum where some type of sex talk is okay (albeit PG 13 type conversation and members only with age verification if their are youths on this site).

Maybe this is not possible with the dirty minds out there. And perhaps no mods want to deal with deciding what's too racy..

I know there is SOME conversation about it, but that might as well be 3rd grade talk. But I'm not trying to be pushy, just want to get your opinion.

Thanks!!

I do agree with you , There should be a sub section where members could go to speak about sex on this site . While i strongly appreciate that this a more mature site which is moderated quite well i think it would help numerous members if they had a chance to open up about the more sexual side of cding , with like you said more of pg 13 Esq type of moderating .

I agree with you also. Just as the post that got deleted earlier today. I did think to myself, that why can this site have subjects like this, but to keep it real and above board without having to get into too much extreme detail. There seems to not be a site out there like that. I mean if you click on search, well it takes you right into XXXXXXXX, and to things that would make a porn star blush. Yes Christina,,, something like PG-13.

I wouldn't say hide it but make it to where you actually have to click that section to see the post . Like "that " thread that was posted tonight many people were offended by and would rather not see that on the front page . So maybe make it an option in user controls to see mature content or make it to where you have subscribe to that sub forum .

Yeah.. That's the post that inspired me to write this thread tonight. I was actually replying to the thread, and before I had the chance to submit my post, the thread was deleted. Luckily I didn't write a novel sized post but still it kinda irritated me a bit.

A forum somewhere in the middle of XXX and the "taboo" feeling of sex on this site would be cool. Not dirty, but classy like a feature film with a romantic love scene.

I was thinking more along the lines of a sub forum, that way you have to want to join the group, but also since the MTF forum is public and the most viewed by guests, it wouldn't get too much traffic from people looking to get their jollys.

I hand found a site that can possibly fulfill your requirements. It's called fetlife dot com - you have to find a group to join for those discussions. I've seen pretty tame like here to some crazy convo's and even crazier profiles that I accidentally came across as it's not just for CD's or tran peeps. It's an open to all place. Actually I'm finding it easier to make friends on there that are more local to me. It's worth a look if anything

I guess all of the above.. Just a place to discuss intimacy in some manner. I am open minded as well, and I have full respect for rules and guidelines. But there are some topics that may be worth discussing amongst those who want to discuss it.. Preferably not on some overly-sexed and xxx-like site.

@mindy
Thanks for the link.. Ill give it a look.

Nice thought and I'd be quick to join in, but it will never flush on this site.

I don't see why we can't discuss what we REALLY feel even though the subject(s) probably will be more than PG-13. I for one would join the group inorder to share what I truly want, need and feel.

I think you’ll find that the Mods have little patience for this sort of thing, and the reason for that is spelled out in the rules quite clearly. You could have endless discussions about what is too “racy” or not, and this uses up time and resources that could be more efficiently used for the benefit of all. Rather than have a special “sex” section, why not talk (or write) about such things behind the scenes via PM’s? I’ve had some interesting conversations along these lines in private, to say the least, and I do not wish to have such things “made public” in the body of the forum...

However, I do not equate crossdressing with sex, or the need for sexual release, in fact I dress to suppress my over-sexed libido. To that end, it works wonders, and I am able to let the “girl” out at the expense of the boy. If I’m dressed, my whole outlook changes, and I literally become someone else – I seek this out, for reasons of mental well-being, so I would not participate in sexual discussion of a CD/TG nature. I turn away, as I must, but I will entertain more innocent ideas of love and beauty behind the scenes, where they belong...

This entire thread will be deleted, in due course, or my name isn’t Freddy! I suppose you CAN have subjects like this for discussion, much like political and religious subjects, but too much effort is required from the powers-that-be to keep the proceedings from getting heated. Better to stay the course, keep a level head (and a level playing field), and stay away from controversy. For example, who could agree on what “extreme detail” would entail? The descriptions alone would sink the discussion...

Freddy is so right (once again). While each person in this thread will probably behave themselves in such a forum, it would be a moderating nightmare for the volunteer staff here. This is why you probably won't see it. No matter how much you try to state what is valid and what isn't within that group, there will be multiple posters who write whatever they feel because they are not paying attention.

I don’t come here for that subject to be discussed.
I love this site because it’s clean!

I am not a prude. But if I want a sex site then I go to one. And I do sometimes.:o

Ladies, this site does have a forum for that, it's the GM private group. While there are still some restrictions and the group is still moderated (as it should be) that section exists to allow for more open and candid stuff than would be appropriate for the main, public forum. Why not apply for membership into that group and see if the topic you want discussed has been already brought up there, or start it yourself.

There are plenty of sites available for this type of discussion. A separate forum for "sex talk" is not needed, if that is all you are interested in, then this is not the forum for you. This forum has existed for a good number of years and is a safe haven for those who wish to understand the nature of transgenderism. I doubt that that this forum would ever entertain such a sub forum.

I know that Nigella has locked this thread, however, just an FYI, there was such a subsection on this board once called the 'adult' section which had threads/posts some of you wish to post about. But, that section took so much moderating time because many people here do NOT understand what rules are and we shut it down and deleted all the posts. Such a section will not be put on this board again, not because it's not a valid section, but because people will overstep bounderies, rules etc etc and more people will get kicked off the site, which is not what we want.
