I've been attending a Unitarian Church for some time now and today's service was focused on bullying. I've never been so compelled to hold back an onslaught of tears in public. Every once and a while a song is the icing on the cake. Now that I'm home I can ball my eyes out. How do we forget about little tunes like this?

It's not often that I get choked up over something. It's even rarer for me to cry. That choked me up a bit and left my eyes moist.

There's almost nothing Peter Yarrow has done that can't bring tears to my eyes ... thanks for that.

You don't. You just welcome the tears, let them pass through you, and allow them to flow. It's the only way to get closure. The tears will stop flowing when you've processed it all, and then you won't need to forget anymore. You'll be OK with what has passed.

You'll have let it go.
