I went home to visit my family this last weekend and I had not cut my fingernails in a long time. I had a good 1/4" of tip showing. Well, I was talking with my cousin with my aunt, my SO, and my mom in the kitchen when my cousin asked me "whats up with your fingernals? Are you going in drag for Halloween?" My lame answer was something like "yep...haven't cut them in a while..." Nothing more was said, but later on my mom said something like, "I have such trouble with my long fingernails...they break too easily." I was so close to telling her, but I chickened out. Well, now that they may be wondering, maybe things will be easier when I do tell them.
