Last night in Orlando, FL on my over night (airline pilot) I was walking back from dinner and stopped by the drug store for a few items. One such item was a pair of silky tan panty hose for the nights enjoyment. Well I did enjoy them thoughout the night and the next morning while dressing for work I put them on under my black uniform pants. I have never under dressed before. Walking through the airport the panty hose felt so good. Also, looking at all the flight attendants wearing panty hose all day really turned me on, more so than normal. I had mine on also. Flying at 31000 feet in panty hose is great. The odd thing is that I cross dress in public and didn't think it would be all that of a big deal under dressing. I think I'll do it again tomorrow. I wish I could wear my 4 1/2 inch pumps. That would be pushing it.

I used to underdress when I was in the closet and the wife didn't know. It was quite erotic. Now that I'm out and can dress any time I like, I never underdress. If I don't want to get dressed all the way, then I'd just rather not dress at all!

I have underdressed a couple a times at work.. it was nice but I havent done it in quite some time.
Your right though the pumps probably would be pushing it. :)

I used to enjoy pantyhose for the thrill, but recently, I've been wearing them under jeans for comfort and a bit of extra warmth in the cold weather here. These are the super thick opaque kind though..

I wore pantyhose to work a few times, but the sound of the swish or the pantyhose against my slacks while walking scared me a little, depending where I was at. But it was a great experience.

I wear pantyhose most of the time and now it just seems like 2nd nature to do so. I think my slacks fit better and personally I REALLY love how my legs feel when my pantyhose encased legs are rubbed by my slacks. BTW, 4 1/2 pumps would get "some" stares when you would board the plane and go into the cockpit.

I really don't see the point with underdressing. My goal is to emulate my ideal woman as closely as possible with what God gave me. When I do dress it's usually all the way total "En Femme". I must say this is difficult when I'm also totally in the closet!

I love this forum and all the wonderful girls here. It has made my life much fuller.

hiya sg,

I can contribute some of my distorted logic to help ya' justify wearing hose...but you are on your own trying to justify wearing those pumps! :heehee:

You might be surprised how many pilots, frequent flyers and computer geeks are wearing hose under those work suits and uniforms! A LOT! There is sound health logic to support their cause! If you live in or fly at high altitude…or spend extended time sitting at a computer…you have all the justification/ documentation you could ever want from "experts" in the medical health community. Here are a few random examples. Most medical, aviation, travel experts have similar information on their web sites.

http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/your-health-inflight/global/en

http://ezinearticles.com/?Travel-Compression-Socks---What-They-Are-and-Why-You-Need-Them&id=1655677

Here is my creative and self-deceiving justification for wearing “hosiery”, including my strategy for buying them,:D…

Here is a link to a “comparison website” for all of the companies that manufacture/sell “compression hose” for men/women. I just initially used it as a resource to educate myself on all of the available options out there.

http://www.compressionsale.com/jobst-relief-economy-line?gclid=CP-D2amO1K0CFaEZQgoda1P66w

Then I decided which product best fulfilled my desire to wear beautiful feminine hosiery…oops, er, ah…I mean…best fulfilled my healthful living requirements for good leg circulation…(there, that sounds better, :o).

Then I searched local Walgreens, Rite-Aids, Wal-Marts, grocery stores, etc. to locate the product I wanted, at the cheapest price I could find. (Compression hose are EXPENSIVE!!…especially for men!).

You can buy Jobst and Futuro brand almost everywhere. I ended up at Walgreens looking at the Futuro brand choices (they often have their own separate rack, located by itself at the end of an unrelated aisle (for some odd reason).

First thing I noticed was that all of the mens choices are made for clowns or a 150 year old dufass, lol. Most were “ankle/knee sock length”, available in only solid black or nurse hose white, lol. No “thigh high” options, aside from one “full leg” version that looked like a white diving suit leg with a gazillion mg of compression. Mens prices were equivalent to the monthly rental costs of a studio apartment, lol. Wrong program for this gurl!

So I shifted into comparing the inventory options for women. Jackpot! Ankle high/knee high, panty hose and yes…thigh highs! Available in blk/wht/nude/…all sizes…various mg compressions. The higher the model, compression mg, etc… the higher the price. (Like over $40 per pair!!!!).

Bad news is that it is hard to find thigh highs in stock(must be popular). Good news is that lightest compression/med size/nude color are always in stock and cost less than $16/pr…under $13 on sale! I just buy the PH style on sale, then (carefully) cut out the crotch when I get home.

They look great, made a tremendous improvement in my leg circulation issues when sitting for hours at my laptop…and they are almost indestructible! I can ruin virtually anything in under two days, lol. But one pair of them will last me well over a month with repeated wear.

As for “check-out” register issues…no problem. The pkgs are not very conspicuous as to content and if I make a comment, I just say…”hey, I have circulation issues and have to wear these things. The “panty-hose” styles do the same/better job as those funky men’s style options…and they are about $30 cheaper! I am not proud!”

I have not found any female yet that argued that point! Most Walgreens seem to hire elderly women for register clerks, too. (if that matters to anyone). I just do not wear shorts when buying them. (hey, no since in going looking for trouble, lol).

Do I toss in a few pairs of “regular style” thigh highs with my purchases every once in awhile? Sure! Hey, I is stupid, but I r not am idiot, :battingeyelashes:.

I think I'm going to wonder about my pilot wearing pantyhose from now on. I think it's cool.:)

If you get "Lost", don't worry about the pantyhose part of your survival- the island supplied everything so there will always be a supply!

Well Joann, chock up another pilot you know of. Flight Instructor to be exact. On the day of my checkride I had on under my black jeans my slightly damaged pair of Silken mist control tops. It was a chilly day, I wanted to be comfortable, and so I wore them. It was a good decision. I had worn hose under my jeans for flying before, and found it comfortable and my legs felt great.
Now one day I hope to wear the hose under a pair of leggings in one of my typical male styled outfits, and perhaps if the world grows that much more, I could wear a skirt over the hose.

But not holding my breath on that one :P

i always wear thigh highs when I travel on planes - and have for the past few years. I started when my doctor said wearing compression hose helps protect people who travel a lot from getting blood clots in the legs. I looked at them and they are UGLY, so I decided to start wearing thigh highs, which i like and often wear anyway. I have worn nylon panties on planes for years, partly because they are so much more comfortable than wearing cotton under shorts, partly because I like them. I had never worn nylons on planes before, but I do on every trip, now.
It was interesting going through the TSA recently in Boston. They sent me to the body scanner, and i guess the guys in the little box got an eyeful to see me in panties and thigh highs, so they sent me over to the touch and feel guys. I am not sure if they did that thinking it would embarrass me (it did not), or if it was just to give the pat-down guys a special treat.

Four and a half inch heels on the rudder petals could get real interesting. Better let the copilot have that leg...pun intended!

As a pilot you should then know that the airlines recommend that nylons not be worn on flights. This is because in the event of a crash and fire they do not burn, but MELT onto your legs adding to the potential damage the fire may do.

Must have felt great though....guess that makes you part of the other "Mile High Club"... LOL

Concerning the whole thing about nylons melting. So do polyesters, which many uniforms are made of. I have heard this before, and frankly, if you are around the heat that is enough to do that, you are in a serious situation.

Truly, wearing this style of clothing is a choice as it is only clothing...my wife checks my dresser draws and hasn't seen any male styled under garments for the last couple of years...nothing but panties, hose and bras for me...oh and then there is this thing about my dresses and skirts hanging in the closet beside her items.

cheers,

And, certainly a "Most Probable, Maybe," Susan, and quite possibly, true, :D but not nearly as much as the two (2) "Air Chance" pilots walking up the aisle to the plane's cockpit, each with a bottle of French wine clearly visible under there arms did; the time I was seeing my wife and daughter off to the States for a medical condition they couldn't handle in France at that time. As God was my witness, as I was about to walk out the plane's exit door, a light fixture fell off the ceiling into the aisle. I silently said a prayer for everyone onboard that plane (and every "Air Chance" flight from thenceforth, and quickly departed (FYI yes, way back then - being a USAF pilot myself - I was able to escort them onto the plane). True story.

BTW I didn't see the Flight Attendant(s) rushing to pickup the fixture - it probably was "old hat" to them; you see, I was long gone by then.
