View Full Version : Another little trip out (this is turning into a habit).

I got all dressed up tonight and had every intention to just sit in and have a nice night. It’s funny, now that I took that first step out, every time I get dressed up now I feel like it’s a total waste if I don’t get out of the apartment. I just went for another little drive, but it still feels so good to get out. The walk from my apartment door to my car is still the biggest thrill to me. The incentive for me to go out tonight was the fact that I was wearing one of my favorite pair of shoes and just had to see how they felt on the pavement and on the gas pedal. It goes without saying that they felt great. I’ll post a few pics below (as usual).
Another interesting thing about my adventures going outside. I’m in the market for a new house, and now as I look at homes, one of the big things I am considering (other than closet space of course) is the ease of getting in and out while dressed without being seen! I’m not even kidding. It is as important to me as air conditioning haha! I think the reality of it is that I really feel that being out is going to be an important part of my life, but I’m still not comfortable with the neighbors knowing about me. Maybe someday I really won’t care, but for now I still do. Either way, I love my trips out and am looking forward to more adventures.
One other little note, I saw my neighbor today who spotted me coming home on my first trip out. He had looked out of his window as I was getting out of my car from only about 20 feet away in a well lit parking lot. Anyway, I wasn’t sure how our first face to face meeting would be after that. Weather he thinks it was me in a dress or was a girl driving my car, he gave me a big smile and said hello. It was a big relief. Even if he thinks it funny (me in a dress), that’s way better than him being hostile, so I’ll take it as a win.
Thanks for reading. These posts are such a great way to express the great times I’m having, and love being able to share with you all. xx Patti

I have to agree that you look amazing. You are going to be really hard to get read. Maybe by another cross dresser, but certainly not by the general public. Go out to the movies, to dinner, you will have more fun than you can imagine!

You look really pretty!! If the rest of you is as femme as your head and shoulders you will have no problems passing. Going out dressed is a lot of fun and interacting with people is even more fun!! Have a great time, but be safe!!!

You'll find that every time you step out builds your confidence and whets your apetite to do more. You look great - no reason to be concerned about that. And almost any opportunities to go out is a chance to go out en femme.
BTW, I came out to a neighbor over the holidasy, and happened to see her husband last weekend (I was in male mode). I waved as I drove by, and like your neighbor, he was all smiles. I talked to his wife a few days later and she emphasized that "we both think its great". So, its probably a bit amusing for him, but they are entirely OK. I think most people are more than willing to let us live our lives as we wish, so long as we don't impose on others.

Good gosh, you look gorgeous Patti!
It's funny about the house thing, totally legitimate in my book to be thinking of such things. It reminds me of the first house I bought. I knew darned well that the huge high windows that were on the second floor level of a living room/dining room with cathedral ceilings opened up to a neighbor with the exact same set-up looking into our house. It didn't deter us from buying the home but perhaps it should have. I recall plenty of moments of paranoia in going up and down the stairs knowing that if my neighbor timed it just right...and happened to glance, he'd be able to see me clear as day.
Needless to say, I'm glad to be rid of that house!!!

I was driving around all dressed up around noon the other day when I decided to go inside JC Penney. I was very nervous at first but the longer I walked around the more confidence I got. I ended up going into Target, Barnes and Noble, Famous Footwear and many more.
WOW Nicole! That sounds great. I think I'm still a ways off from going out in daylight and to shops! I hope I have the nerve someday though. Thx for the compliment! xx Patti.

Really cute...and love the shoes. You should have no issue going out. I doubt anyone would recognize you.
I used to worry about people seeing me as I left the house until one day my wife said that she didn't care if the neighbors saw me. It didn't matter to her. Once that was out, I had no trouble opening the door. I don't really care what they think either.
My wife walks in a park nearby and sees one of the neighbors (kind of neighborhood snoop) now and then and I keep asking her if he's mentioned anything about the "tall girlfriend" of hers that he see he going out with now and then....LOL

Hi Patti, I'm still very careful when leaving the house. Your neighbors don't need to know.

You look wonderful Patti and should pass quite well IMO. It is so invigorating, isn't it? I went out several times last week dressed and loved it. Unlike Nicole, I didn't have the courage to enter the mall but did walk around outside from the car past the doors, etc. The next day I went to a local park and walked around a bit and took some pics. Each day it does seem to get easier. I love reading these stories....
You go girl!......:battingeyelashes:

Isn't it nice that no one seems to care, even your neighbor who spotted you. I have been spotted by neighbors and nothing has been said. If you think about it what are they going to say. "Was that you in a dress?" then you can lie or say yes and leave it at that. no need to explain or expand on the answer let them ask if they want.
Have fun enjoy our thing
