My Big Week!

It has been an eventful week for me so far. I went to my counselor on Monday evening dressed for the first time and received my GID letter for hormones. Then went to my support group meeting and went out with the girls dressed in public. Another first for me.

Today I saw an endocronologist and received my prescriptions for Estridol and Spiro.
Got them filled and took my first dose this evening so I'm officially on hormones!

So I am now officially in transition! Just had to share the news.

Though I would say that you have been in transition before this... the start of HRT is a significant milestone on the path. I think we all remember our first dose. Mine was in the target parking-lot. I couldn't even wait to get home.
