A public "Thank You"

This site means many things to the people here. For me it has become my community, my source of information, advice, feedback, friendship. These are all the things that I am losing in my day to day life as my make this journey. It is not just a irtual place for me. It is made up of real people, many whom I have had the pleasure of meeting personally. That experience continued today, when I had the opportunity to meet with Kaitlyn. She took time out of her day to drive in to the city to meet a stranger and gave more than just her time. She gave her compassion, support, encouragement, and hope. I am truly blessed for having met her, and I want to say a big, heartfelt, public "Thank You, Kaitlyn"!

If not for some of the sterner members, I doubt I would have realized I was making excuses to myself about finding a therapist much less transition as a whole. Overall, this is one of the only places I have where I can vent, talk, and release everything I have pent up inside while dealing with day to day life. Everyone, thank you. A community is only as good as it's people.
