Ok, so I have a few friends that I would like to set up a girls night out with and I don't have any ideas. Ok, I have a few so here they are.
1. Movie
2. Mani/Pedi
3. Pizza? I don't know about this one, I'm am losing weight / Dress sizes, hmmmm.... hopefully by April I'll fit into a size 10.
4. Restaurant like P.F. changs
5. Pool / Bowling
6. I don't have any after 5, lol.

I would like some suggestions that don't cost a lot of money or doesn't cost anything at all!! Maybe we can paint each others nails or something.

What does your city offer for evening amusements/entertainment for the average age of the group of gals?

Personally, I wouldn't mind going to a TG-friendly bar with a few gal pals and shooting some pool. :)

A movie sounds fun too. If on a budget, maybe just give each other makeovers and order a pizza and pick up a 2 liter of your favorite fizzy drink? It won't hurt your figure if it's not something you do often.

Monster truck racing, strip club, poker. Why do you have to limit it?

Kristen - They sound like great ideas -- How about a round of mini golf on a warm summer night - for those brave souls who brave enough to be seen, even if they're read? SLC, MWC and Ogden have 'Wise Guys' comedy clubs that aren't very expensive and are alot of fun! What about a Pot Luck dinner? OOPS-that was already mentioned!! Still a good idea.

...what can you do that you can't do otherwise? Lets see... 'ladies night' event, like resturant, shopping, bar, horse racing, etc where guys are not encouraged to go. Or, dress to the 9's and hit a casino or play or show. ...or an activity like biking, hiking or where there is a typically feminine attire.

The mani pedi sounds good to me. Although the ladies night idea from Chickhe sounds good as well.

I don' tknow what's going on in Provo, but dinner and live theatre sounds like a good excuse to dress up!

How about a dinner theater night at one of those murder mystery places. I've been trying to get some of my friends to go but it's hard to arrange because we're kind of spread out.

How about an after-hours party at Dress Barn. Most of them love to do them for us!

Ok, So I will be the only cd at this girls night out. A couple of GG's from work want to do a girls night out with me! One even wants to give me toys on my makeup! It was suggested to me by a GG to starve myself before pizza so that I can continue loosing dress sizes. So I need ideas for a fabulous night out with the girls!

What about Karaoke? there's a few GGs in my work love getting up to belt out some numbers.I'm a bit partial to singing "Dancing Queen" on occasion myself:heehee:

If you go to a comedy club avoid the front row. Those guys can be brutal!

I think starting out with a manicure and then going out for a bite to eat would be fun. How about something different like Muse Music Cafe on a Thursday night for Acoustic Songwriters night? (love Google maps!). You could go out for some live theatre, something that most guys avoid like the plague!! Maybe Zorro the musical. Even just going out to the Town Center Mall for some window shopping could be fun, before or after something to eat.

Have fun!

SLC, MWC and Ogden have 'Wise Guys' comedy clubs that aren't very expensive and are alot of fun!

I can vouch for Wiseguys working. Don't have to overeat and didn't get a second look. Thankfully so as a co-worker was the emcee. But I did the Trolley Square location which is a little more comfortable and spread out than Ogden.

I don' t know what's going on in Provo

Nothing!

Oh. Sorry. Local joke. Provo is locally considered the most conservative town here.

I would suspect that if you are getting together with GGs for the first time, that things like making each other over and doing each other's nails aren't going to be on everyone's list. I would stick with group outing items; dinner, movies, comedy club, or maybe a play.
