How did your CrossDressing progress?

I'm just curious. How did your CrossDressing progress? I started with pantyhose. Soon after discovering that, and loving the feel of it, I tried on a few skirts to go with it. I then progressed to bras and slips underneath, and then to a full outfit, with shoes, skirts, blouses, and dresses. It was not until I was well into my 30's that I began using makeup and bought a nice wig. So my full progression was fast at first, but a bit slow later on.

I to began with pantyhose (tights) then went to my Mum's dresses and shoes, when I was old enough I started to buy panties and the odd thong leotard (they are sooo comfy). Then I met a GG (ex gf) who I confided in, I showed her my huge collection of tights/pantyhose and she was hooked as she loved to wear them also (I know one of the few GG who did, looking at the formums here anyway) she then helped my to me forward with with some make up tips etc, in fact she took my avitar picture, her shoes and skirt :(

So I guess my story is similar, start fairly quickly, but slowed down then had a huge push, then we went our sperate ways and I died off again, but now have a new drive to dress again, need more clothes because like most girls, I have purged on more then one ocassion :(

[COLOR="magenta"]My Story Is just the same in a way. One day when I was about 5 I had ran into a pair of my sister's tights. I wore those off and on for a couple years. As I got into my teen years I started to dress fully, with dresses,pants, panties,bra's shoes, makeup. I just pick of 2 wigs for the first time in my life. I am 21 year old. I love crossdressing. It is a big part of my life. With out, Im sure I would not be where I am today. I don't know where It is going to lead me to., but as long as I am happy, that is the main thing.

After an incident at a cousins house I started to look more closely at my moms cloths. I started to find all my moms hidden ruffly panties and bras and and a petticoat she had since she was in her teens and I just had to start trying on her cloths My interest just continued to snowball from there on.

I was always facinated by girls wearing skirts, wishing I could wear one, and also men who wore kilts, as I thought they were a skirt.
In my late teens and early 20's I joined a group that wore kilts. I loved the feel of the kilt ( skirt ) and wore it as much as I could.
From there I thought I would try a pair of panty hose, so one year when on vacation away from home, i bought a pair in a grocery store, and tried them on.
From there on, i was not into crossdressing for quite a while, however I did wish that I could wear a skirt.
About 10 years ago, I got the courage to go into a K-Mart and bought my first skirt. From there on it just magnified, to where I now buy all my own lingerie including bras, as well as skirts, femme slacks and what ever else I need

Hi there,
My first choice is so long ago.....! I rather think that it was panties, certainly followed by a bra. Both are soo important to me and without support and knowledge of the SO they are the most used.
Skirts followed and that was at the time of the intro of the Mini ! My first one was leather and almost qualified as a micro. Bought (blushingly ?) in woolworths ! Where did you buy your first ?
The rest followed automatically, shoes, heels first, stiletto then flatties. Surprisingly perhaps,the handbags were last. Forgot the sunglasses in my pics, they just happened and were hardly if ever worn.

Panties, followed by lingerie and then whatever clothes I could find that I thought were attractive. That continued all though teens, never many skirts around the house though, and at that point in time I didn't really know what all this was. After being married, and the CD stuff surfaced again, I started to experiment with whatever I could find in the house, skirts were great! Then after telling my wife about two years ago, I got my first pair of heels, not too long after that I went all the way and loved every minute of it!

I have painted my toenails for a while. I started with panties. I have worn a bra to work along with panties. At home alone, I have worn a skirt, a dress, a gown, some tops and a wig.

All in the Sixties early seventies.
12-13 Frilly panties then Bras. At 15 a Yellow dress ( I remember so so much that Yellow dress). Then girdles and suspenders. Longline bras. Pantyhose was just coming in but I never liked it:confused:
Mid seventies, my first pair of shoes and the next few years an explosion of Goodwill, Red Cross, St Vinnies, St Lawrence store raids.
I've just kept a floating wardrobe ever since, either hidden or not and a few lapses without, incl living in Wisconsin for a few years.

I started playing "dress up" and play group, (age 2 or 3 -- 'Kindergarten'). Then in my teens went on to have a fascination with shoes... from there, to skirts, tights, knickers... and now, the full kaboodal! :D

I started with a pair of women's U.S. Keds tennis shoes. My mother bought them for me when I was about 11. She kept telling me they were girls' shoes, but I kept telling her that I liked them, so she went ahead and bought them. I went from there to wearing my sister's slips. Then a few years of not much. Then, like you, Marla, at about age 20, I tried on a pair of pantyhose and that was it, I was hooked. It was masturbation city for the rest of the day. Oops, probably too much information........

I was 5 or 6 staying with my grandparents for the weekend found a pair of my grandmothers bloomers so soft and smooth way to big but I loved the feel of them still do cant get over the feeling.

Well i started to dress in 1969 i when i slipped on one of my mum`s bras and a pair of panties and a pair of stockings that i managed to sneek out of her drawers well that was it for me hooked they felt great.

I experimented on off for the next couple of years trying on different undergarments. then i found out my own father was a crossdresser. this was by accident when i came accross some of my parents photos that had been hidden in the wardrobe i was shocked and also i felt guilty at what i had been doing. as to say this put me off dressing for quite a while.

but the urge to start to dress again came many years later well 12 years ago when i started again but this time i had the means to purchase clothing for myself and started to build up my own collection of clothing, i started with underwear and progressed to other items of clothing.

The dressing started to become more and more part of my life so i decided to come out to my wife and lucky for me she was accepting and now jenny is part of both our lives and to date we are very happy. I am able to be jenny at least 2 times a week this is only because of work committments.

I started with bra and panties, then an all-in-one (1964, I was 12). After college, when I started living alone, I went through a "sleaze phase" of trashy Fredericks-like outfits. Then back to bra and panties, adding in a garter belt and nylons. I really "got into" corsets and teddies in the late 1980's. It was then that I started doing make-up, perfume, and wig. It was only a couple of years ago, when I entered my 50s, that I started wearing dresses, blouses, and skirts. I was 53 the first time I went out en femme, alone. I have a 'goals' while I'm 54.
