I wonder if I had been born a woman would I now want to be a man? Is transgender ism just a middle point we gravitate toward?

If that was the case and birth gender was a 50/50 probability... I'd think there would be a lot more F2M's here than there are.

If I CD because I have a 'strong feminine side to my personality' as I do (I think) then, if I had popped out female-sexed in the first place (but with the same mind), I would probably have grown up to be a 'standard' woman (for want of a better word).

A woman can easily do work and obtain position once held exclusively by men. There are more young women in college than men. There are increasingly more female doctors, lawyers, executives and engineers. There are more women in the military. And, these women can still be feminine women. I do not see the urge on their part to present as a man. They are still doing endeavors once exclusively available to men, and, looking drop dead gorgeous doing it.
A guy doing the same once exclusively male endeavor in a dress, well.....you know what happens. Since even the shrinks cannot figure us out, I think there's no answer.
And, the premise of your questions assumes a MTF cross dresser wants to be a woman. If I was given the choice to be born into a body other than a man's, yes, it would be a woman as opposed to a worm or a dog. I guess we need to ask the professional and executive GG's why they choose to look drop dead gorgeous in pretty dresses and heels over 'manly' looking attire.

Since we are all conceived as female, that's why guys have mamary glands, it's only in the womb that some of us change to male parts while the lucky ones get to keep what they were conceived with... During the transitition in the womb, I'm thinkin that not all of my made it to the male mode... That's why I think I have the female brain mostly but have some male thoughts too.... Arrgh this is so perplexing...
Nope, if I was born a GG, I'd definately be just where I was suppose to be.... pissed off at all the guys starting at me.. hmm..

I think if I had been born a woman it would change my wardrobe drammatically. Not sure I would have any pants! I guess I would need less make up to try to look feminine. Actually I wonder if I would love dressing up so much and the joy of feminine lingerie if I had been born a woman! The excitement and feel and risk of getting caught and thought of getting away with something wrong as a young lad would not have been there! I wonder?

See what you mean. SO, when I said above that I expect I'd have been a regular woman, perhaps I would have been a regular woman who was somewhat of an exhibitionist.

That's a very good question. One I surely don't have an answer to. It's hard enough trying to understand where I am now lol
