This Made Me Feel Realy Good!

I had to be sedated for a medical procedure this morning (a simple esophagogastroduodenoscopy). I was dressed androgenously, a women's striped turtleneck over pants, my hair in a raised pony tail. My records clearly had my male name and gender on them.

Two nurses were prepping me for the procedure. One of them said, "You have such a pretty hair color! Beautiful shades of red!'

The other one said, "Yes, very pretty hair! Just right for your skin color!"

Certainly make me feel good!

Lucky for you that you have hair!! When I had hair it was a very nice shade of red, but what is left is now gray!! I hope everything was O.K. with your medical procedure!!

No procedure with a name that long can be "simple"! I think that the docs call it an "upper GI" when they are on their own time.

Great story! I work in retail and had a customer tell me she loved my hair. I do have naturally long hair and I loved the comment. :)
