Diverse CD socializing experience

I read threads and stories about may girls in here and their life's experince while crossdressing. Can I speak for others that these type of stories are inspiring. Well last Saturday night I went to a CD/TV/TG hook up in a club called the Blue Pacific in the King of Prussia Mall in PA. The chance arose to go dressed so I took it. Mind you I have never been around other T-Girls in this type of atmosphere. I would say about 28 CD/TV/TS showed up. I walk in and sit by myself, kinda nervous. A pretty cd girl says, you can sit with us if you want. I will say that there were only a hand full of girls that I would say pass and present as a women. The girls came in alll shapes and size. Some of girls had a hard time concealing the man.and it was a little hard to hide. I started to speak in a soft voice and one other girls said , girl you will wear yourself out trying to talk like that. trust me I know. They made me feel very comfortable and soon my conversations we of what else we like and so. I got some + compleiments on my appearence and nails. that made me happy. I was asked to dance so I did, Some girls were a little touchy feely when you got close and chatted but not in a threating way but more of a sisterhood. What I realized is how normal I felt around these girls. I took a few pics with some of the girls I liked and people were taking pics everywhere. Yes, there were your creepy guy admirires lurkinbg in the shadows and a few girls were seen chatting and talking to them. I was there for about 3 hours. I really didn't make any solid connections or friendships but another girl did flirt with me. In closing it wasn't what I expected but I didn't stay to closing, and by some of the pics below, the girls got a little frisky. It sounds like you had a great time. Whenever you attend something like that, no telling what you might encounter, but it sounded fairly normal. It will be easier next time and you made some new friends. Very cool!

Congratulations, your group looks like a lot of fun. I too found a meet up group in my area, and I will never be the same. Give it a few times, I now have half a dozen friends from the group and it's growing.
Now the real question, where can I get those shoes! wow!

Denise, I am about three hours from Philly and have considered attending one of the Saturday night parties. I would love to hear more about it since I have only been out dressed twice in my life and am a bit nervous about it.

There are a lot of great folks down in the Philly area, I got a chance to meet many of them years ago when I would travel to Philly for the IFGE conventions they used to hold down there. The King of Prussia mall is a great place to go, did you get to walk around and do some shopping or such?

No shopping , I got there after the mall closed and entered from an outside entrance. from what I have learned after the fact, there is a party before and after (Sorta a private party) that is set up by some T-Girls who >>> well lets put it this way like to have fun the only way a girl knows how to with other T-Girls. I am sure that would have been an interesting read if I showed up and played along!!!

I have gone out dressed several times now but never to a CD group or gathering. All of my outings have been shopping or going out with my wife and GG friend. I am very interested in connecting with other CDers and that is why I recently joined this group. Your experience sounds that it was fun. My wife says I can pass but I don't know. Regardless, I not sure I realy care about passing. I know that I enjoy being myself when I dress and am very comfortable with it. I have found contacts on line for 2 CD groups here in Maryland and hope to join up soon.

I think the term 'T-Girl' has a bad connotation , maybe TG girls instead?

You are going to find that trans folks, for the most part, are some of the nicest people you are going to meet. Don't worry who passes, who doesn't, etc. Just make friends and have fun. I love my girlfriends and it is SOOOO much fun hanging out with them!

I so wanted to go this past saturday but oppertunity was not knocking, I know I would have had a better time knowing and having friends there but all in all it was a interesting night I had met this girl named Angie, very pretty and way cool!!

I was there, as well, from about 10:20 until midnight. Just chatted with a few of the girls I had met before, talked to that tiny GG who was there with her CD friends trying to promote her makeup/hair styling services (very nice girl), had a soda and headed home. I usually attend with my wife, but she was out of town on business and told me to just get out of the house ;)

If you saw me, you might remember me; even in low heels I was the tallest person in the room :)

If you're local you should come by the Beagle in Norrristown some Thursday night. Nice, low-key place and small TG event (usually 7-15 people)
