I am curious where others get there fashion/dressing style ideas. I like what my wife buys and wears and how she looks, probably part of my attraction to her. But I check stores on line looking at different outfits and definitely watch women at work and elsewhere to see how different looks work on others. For high fashion, casual, work attire, where do you look and how do decide?

I have a shop that is very accepting and I go in with an open mind and look for things that fit and that look good on me. The owner has an idea of what I like and offers sugestions or puts things aside that she thinks I may like.

I shop at several stores that put things aside for me to try on. But my collection of femme stuff is so big now that I rarely buy anything new! I need to get rid of things, not add more!!

I dress to 'blend in', so I look at what GG's are wearing around here, so it's usually skinny jeans, calf length boots, caual top or sweater etc.
I'd like to find an accepting shop with friendly staff that I could visit for fashion ideas & suggestions that would suit me.

Nothing better than the newspaper! Check out all the adds, and you can see everything from high fashion to jeans and tops! Pay attention to the hair styles, too!

I also like the Sunday sales fliers. I also like to shop on E-bay.
It seems that when I see a very attractive GG, and I think her outfit is great, I will try to find something similar. I guess I'm just like most men when I see a pretty young woman...I just want to get into her pants (or skirt!), just not quite the same way most guys do. lol!!

Having been married, dated several different women, and having a daughter has given me a lot of close observation opportunities. I also like their styles of dress. From there I always look at the fashion magazines, especially In Style and Lucky, and am attracted to women not just for how cute they are but also by their dressing styles. So, I try to emulate those styles that I like, as well as create some of my own. I buy mostly at thrift stores and therefore always have a lot of options for tops, bottoms (skirts and slacks), coats, jackets, purses, shoes and boots. Sometimes I want to dress for the venue and other times I want to stand out some. Since I only started 5 years ago, my preferred styles are slowly changing. It sure is a lot of fun trying to figure out what to wear the next time I go out.

There are a few shows on TV that give me some idea of what to and not to wear. What not to wear....watch the people in the background of the antiques roadshow... OMG what where they thinkin??? Hey hun, let's throw on a pair of matching sweat suits and head down to that old furniture show thing I hear it might be on TaVEE.

What to wear, I check out the legal shows as that is where I think a professional office lady might get some ideas...
In the past, I'd go downtown in a southern city and just watch what the GGs were wearing as they came out for lunch...
