mmmm. small snowstorm, 2" of icy blowing snow- warming up afterward. Working on tomorrow's lab project for the students... August Silk sweater, full, knee length ball style skirt... watching HGTV with my wife- vacation houses in costa rica, full time home in Equador...

The 'doge' coming over to play, other small animals crawling over the chairs downstairs, saying hello, schnoodling around.

"she who must be obeyed" (or at least acknowledged) has to turn in early, I have another hour or two of prep and papers to grade before ZZZZZZ.

I have to 'work' tomorrow- but have good students for this class- it is more of an informative meeting-

What a nice cozy winter evening- it's actually winter weather here around Chicago for a few days... still not terribly wintery, as far as it goes- didn't even have to wear my snow suit to do the snow blowing & such.

everyone else is hunkering in from the cold- a nice cozy Chicago winter night

Kristi, you're a winter gal at heart, I see." Too bad you have to work and can't enjoy a glass of wine instead. :)

I am rite here, in Chicago land, northern burbs, yes 2" of that "S" word mommy told me
never to use. My lilac's are starting to bud out, so where is that Woodstock Woody, the
local Ground Hog that said no shadow, and spring in 6 weeks. I bet he went south for the winter.
I hope Alligators eat him up. LOL

Say what you like, but four seasons is magical not to mention all the different outfits you get to wear. When spending 6 months in the southern hemisphere somewhere, yes, I do love it also, but it's not the same, particularly at Christmas season. Just doesn't seem right cracking open a coconut on a beach on boxing day in a bathing suit on the sand. So this year and last, we decided to stay home, bought two new snowmobiles( again), and are having a blast in the snow. Next year? Who knows, probably back to the beaches in Costa Rica again. lol Just the way I'm wired.
