Today, I got up and dressed en femme for the first time in 10 days! Over the past week, relatives were staying with my, so I didn't dress at all. I love them and really enjoyed thier company, but I gotta admit, it felt really good to put on girl things today!

I really do enjoy being a girl!

Its all a matter of perspective, isn't it?! I've been dressing nearly full time for a few years now, so even these short breaks seem like a big deal.

Guess I've developed a new philosophy over the last few years where nothing is really a big deal any more! Like furniture shopping for 10 hours with the wife on Saturday.... No big deal... Or maybe its more like just succumbing to the inevitable! Lol.

10 hours of furniture shopping - that would feel like an eternity!

I remember an old saying;
"Fish and Friends, Smell in 3 Days".
I think that sums it up.LOL

I am on business for a month and have to leave all my things at home in SC. I can't wait to get home and dress again.

Ask anyone of the female persuasion when she's going to go back to dressing in more gender neutral clothing, and see what happens.

I went 5 full years without dressing some years ago. But now, dressing almost every day is so common for me that I am not sure I could go 10 days without!

10 days is a long time, but business trips can be a real drag ;-) . While hotel rooms provide nice privacy, the transit can be difficult for those of us not brave enough or physically ready to be out in public.

I'm not ready for airport security to discover breastforms or underwire bra in their X-ray machine. But I can find room for a dress or two and a nightgown, and if I choose dresses that don't need a bra I can even make do with rolled up socks like in the pre-breastform days. Makeup fits easily in the bag, but shoes are a bit of a problem. This works well for domestic travel.

Forget all this for most of my international travel, especially to mideast countries - even my earrings come out of my ears for those trips. Safety first!

That is so awful. It's been 5 months and counting for me and then 4 months before that.

Tara: That's way too long. I hope you can find a safe way to do more ... if you want.

I'll never complain about a 10 day hiatus again - I can't imagine going 5 months, let alone 5 years!

Ten weeks for me, every year-oh, those summer vacations with the wife home. And, worse yet. My kid has returned from the mid-West. No more seven to ten day trips by my wife out of town. No more 24/7 for a week plus. Maybe I'll get more home repairs done now! Sigh!

I know you read my threads about my set back before i went on holidays, but it`s one thing to not dress because you don`t want to, but i couldn't even imagine wanting to and couldn't for 10 days, must have been a real relieve to finally dress again.
