I am so looking forward to spring now!!!! All my life I played baseball and softball, when I had sons old enough I stopped playing so I could afford time to coach. My oldest son is now playing for the high school team along with all the other kids I coached in the city leagues up til this point, I go watch the games and see how they have all grown and become fine young men and would have feelings well I am all done with this part of my life, my cleats are hung up for good.
When I went into my favorite hangout they had a sign up sheet for the restaurants co-ed softball team and I realized I had time to play again!!!! It will be so fun to play as a woman and they welcomed me on the team as such!!! If anyone in the Detroit area wants to come see our team play on Sundays in the spring let me know !!!
