Each year I have been trying to stretch myself a little farther and be more open with my dressing. I have to be careful where I live so I have been exploring Chicago and opening myself up a little more. Last year I went to my first group meeting--(thank you Island Girls, I love your open arms) and then 5 months later I went out to dinner with a girl I had met on my first trip. I walked around a little in the Boystown area which is very friendly to various lifestyles. Now I am taking it a step further I am packing for 3 days in Chicago, only femme clothes besides what I wear on the plane (of course femmy underneath) I will check in, get made up and go out the door. Ride the train to Rachel's Wigs and then explore. Tomorrow I plan to shop downtown or perhaps if I am feeling brave a little bit of Michigan Ave. I even bought a cute jogging suit to get some early morning coffee and take a long walk. Well here goes nothing. Wish me luck and I will send updates if people are intersted.
