After reading Jodi's thread on being drafted by the drag queens, An interesting question could be asked. If any of you could perform on stage while dressed what would you do? What song would you like to sing and how would you be dressed?
For me it would be completly different to what I would most likly do. I would like to dress in 1940's style and sing the songs "When I fall in Love" and "The way you Look Tonight" by Doris Day.
I give credit to Jodi for this question.

Amelie
you're just a soft sentimental old thing at heart, aren't you?
I've always wanted to be able to sing and perform ..... I can't
................ but if I could it would be Blondie's 'Heart of Glass'.
take care

I think I would enjoy wearing a conservative female vocalist's dress from the early 70s and singing Helen Reddy's "I Am Woman". Maybe start a CD's version of the woman's lib movement.
This may sound crazy, BUT
I would like to perform Alainis Morisette songs on stage dressed in full drag with long black curly hair.
Just a crazy thought.

I can't sing, I can't dance much, and about the only musical instruments I could manage would be a tamborine. :)
(I *can* play air guitar tho!)

Cyndie Lauper's Girls just want to have fun. I'd wear all those petticoats she wore in the video and be just as animated as she was. :p

I would probably sing "I Enjoy Being A Girl" by Peggy Lee or "Man! I Feel Like A Woman" by Shania Twain. I would dress appropriately for either or. :)

I'd want to perform as Jennifer Lopez or Madonna.
I would love to be Catherine Zeta-Jones in Chicago.

I would just love to do "It's raining men! Hallelujah! It's raining men ...." as done recently ... The energy and the vibe was awesome on the music video.
But then I am also a bit of a Britney Spears fan (at least her earlier songs), so there are a few that I wouldn't mind trying if I could borrow the body too!
Hmm, what is it with me a girl bands!? ;)
:p
