We all like to crossdress, and have many reasons for it. We live as a man, and other times, pretend to be a lady. Many people think we are strange, actually people accept gays more than us crossdressers.
I have this one Hetrosexual CD friend , who has gone to the point of having two seperate identities with two seperate birthdates and ages and personlities etc.
As a Girl, we are in the pretend mode, and having fun. My question for you out there is , if you could answer please, does this sound weird to you?
I am not talking about a man wanting to have women's breasts, and or a sex change, and wanting to be a real woman. We all have man's names , and girls names, but do you have a birthdate for your girl too?

At my age one a year is enough, besides, getting gifts for both genders, I always make out great sharing Birthdays with both sides.

Thanks for the comment, it's ok to have an imaginary or invisible friend as a child, but not as an adult. It's like hearing voices, I think my friend needs help with a psychiatrist.

I have a name for my female side, as I assume most of us here do. I never really gave thought to a birthdate for my female side however.

I do notice that there are aspects to my behavior that are different when I am dressed, for example, I am much more relaxed and find myself watching television shows I would not normally watch when in male mode. I don't really view that as a seperate personality but rather as a softer, more feminine part of my overall personality which some would describe as eccentric at times anyway.

I'm not the friend that you mentioned but I do use two different names, etc. as a matter of convenience. It is awkward to be out in public and to have your spouse call you by your male name or to have your child call you "Dad." So it is simpler to image as "twins" with different names, etc.

And once you are out-and-about and start to fill out forms you are expected to have a birthday.

At first I just assumed, since my "brother" and I are twins, that we had the same birthday. But my sister, who started out as my older sister, decided to stop having birthdays after she reached a certain age, so, over the years, she had become our "younger sister." Hmmmmm.

Since folks were always telling me that I looked younger than my chronological age I thought, "Why shouldn't I just knock a few years off?" After all, it was working pretty well for my older, now younger, sister. So I clipped ten years off of my age and everyone seems to accept how old I say I am.

It is fine, except that it does make my brother and I into a kind of weird set of twins! Not to mention the extremely difficult labor that must have been for our Mother!

Hugs,
Persephone.

I understand the desire to do this, but it's way too confusing for me. :) Girl name is as far as I would go.

Back when my dear wife was still alive, she did celebrate Stephanie's birthday. I had not done so before that, and don't do it now that my wife has passed on. I am just happy being Stephanie from time to time! But I don't see anything wrong with having dual personalities, and celebrating each of them!! It is called being an individual!!

I don't have a 'girl' birthdate, but have a girl 'age'. 14. I have my theories, but of course, it's all up to interpretation.

Thanks for the nice comments.
I can't remember how I started, it was gradual step ladder. I guess it is because of Halloween that I started to dress, as i liked to win contests ( won a trip to the Bahamas once ) I remember one halloween once, when pulling into the parking lot as dressed, asked the attendant if he could tell if i was a girl or a man, he said he didn't know. That was it, I was on my way of dressing.
