Do any ladies on the board know of upcoming CD/TG conferences? I would love to go to one. What are some of the big ones? Thanks! :)

Yes, this is my issue with all the different forums. I keep getting things moved to forums that are burried so far down that no one reads them. They need to consolidate some to make it easier to find things.

Two I've been to that I've LOVED!

Diva Las Vegas begins April 21.

Southern Comfort Conference in Sep. is the grandmother of CD conferences!

Google them for all the details!

My SO and I have been to Southern Comfort in Atlanta and enjoyed it very much. Lots to learn and enjoy being yourself.

We then went to Fantasia Fair in Provincetown, MA several years ago, and have been three years since and already signed up for this October. You get the whole town to be out and about for clubbing and shopping and dining and the townsfolk are most supportive. Never an issue and you are accepted everywhere. Lots of seminars and highlight talks to help you understand what we are about. And there are scholarships and big sisters available.

I haven't been to others, but I started by googling transgender conferences and have found many wonderful opportunities out there. Don't be shy and bring your best frocks. You'lll love it!

I'm a staff member at Southern Comfort (http://sccatl.org), so I may be biased...

It's the largest transgender convention, anywhere. Attracting over eight hundred people last year, SCC is an experience. You will meet people, make friends, learn so much, and find a lot about yourself.
