I finally got started on HRT! :) I have made a lot of progress over the last two years with diet, herbals, breast massage, etc. I lost 65 pounds and have breasts bigger than A cup. I am starting to smile when I look in the mirror. HRT is going to really be awesome. I have been patient because I know transition takes time, but I was both smiling and crying on the way home from getting my prescriptions.

I used to think I was way too ugly to be a female. Now I don't even care if I ever "pass" 100% as a genetic female. That will be nice, but I am completely comfortable being out as a trans woman. Society is starting to learn about us, so now is good time for trans pride.

Good for you girl. I am starting to feel the same way, I may never 100% "pass", whatever that may be, but it has become more important for me to be me, and not what society expects me to be. Looking like a woman is secondary, I am a woman, of course I want to look good, but I am "Me", and ""Me" is a woman.........Stephanie

That is great news. Glad all is going well with you. I am not that far behind you as I have my appointment on April 11th. I cannot wait.

That is such a wonderful attitude to have Juno.

Keep it up and it will make everything in life and your transition more fun for you and everyone that is around you.

I have come to feel the same way. The hormones will only calm your fears and give you more strength.

Congratulation's you finally stopped caring about what other people think and just loved yourself enough to do what was necessary in order for you to be you. You just passed the test. :)

HRT will give you clarity where there once was none, trust me.
