I just returned from a wonderful confrence, the Keystone Conference in Harrisburgh Pa. It was four days of breakout sessions, activities, and fun. There were most likely over 300 girls and trans men attending. It is always fun and always insperational.
This year I learned about the new standards of care for our community, saw the courage of first time attendees and was inspired by the girls who live full time.
The most inspiring and promising experience was seeing the transyouth there with their parents by their side giving them all their love and support. My God there is hope!
I made new friends, renewed old relationships and strenghend current ones. It gave me the courage and confedence to keep moving forward, to continue to educate the world and to be true to myself.
I can't wait until next year!
