Another hazard of dressing femme

I never thought I'd have this problem: Stepped on toe of one foot with high heel of other foot!

My saintly wife, who I have praised on so many occasions here, provided the inevitable feminine, loving, caring reaction ... in other words, she laughed loudly and told me to do it again. I thought only we guys reacted like that (there's that old male to female spectrum again, but in reverse).

Perhaps she'll make it up to me later ... sure is getting late here ... yawning ... yawning some more.

Can't say I've ever done that! However, I would expect the SO's reaction--at least mine!

Ouch! Never done that, but your wife's reaction is predictable in that she was probably treating your pain the way she would treat another woman's. In girl world, while women listen to and commiserate with their friends, especially over emotional pain, when it comes to physical pain you are generally expected to "pull up your big girl panties" and deal with it.
