These are my newest pics. Thoughts? Ideas? Still practicing the make-up. I somehow don't think I have the base the correct colour for my skin tone yet. I was just watching TV by the way ... Or trying to! :D Not quite ready for my (new) public debut though.

:D I actually really like that picture. It's a very feminine pose and your body is smokin hot! I like your smile too. You have cute lips. You just have that deer in the headlights look in your eyes.

I know if you are anything like me, I only like maybe 1 out of every 15-20 portraits that I take of myself. You just have to take lots of them and find the ones you like best. It takes time but you'll learn what works best for you.

I agree with Charlotte a smile does go a long way.I know I look better when I smile even if it is a simple innocent smile.Remember it uses more muscles to frown than it is to smile.lol :p

I think my average is less than that. When I take pictures I a few of one pose. Then I take check them out on the computer and make adjustments. Most of the pics I have of myself I took on a timer so I also have to get myself in the frame. But I'd say I need about 50 before I'm really happy with a shot.

Charlotte's right, you might be trying too hard. Just think of something funny when posing like when the photographer goofed around while posing for class pictures when you were a kid to get you to laugh. Also highlight your eyebrows with a dark brown or black brow liner and fill in your lips some more. For the lips, think "outside the lines". Actually shape your lips to a feminine form using a lip pencil then fill in the rest with lipstick. For some pretty good tips here's some links:

Thank you for the compliments. And the suggestions! Julie, those sites are FANTASTIC. I am definitely going to try some of the suggestions SOON! Will let you know when I have tried and what the results are.

As for being a deer in the headlights ... Yup, that sounds about right! I loved the suggestion about the school photos. Oooh, how I would have loved to wear one of the girl's school uniforms ... :D They had such a nice summer uniform too. The boys' uniforms were SO boring. ;)

Now it is time to go get a few supplies :D

Charlotte, I am flattered! I have always envied women who can change their whole look. Think Madonna. I seldom recognise any of her photos ;). But I really like the classy look. Besides, the glasses help cover the practicing make-up :). And they aren't even fake, but optional ...

I just love my fishnets, Sara! Got them via a party store through mail order. They aren't as finicky as the usual stuff and ooh ... Sometimes they are just stunning to wear.

Tristen, thank you! They say everyone has a double somewhere on earth, maybe she was mine? :D

And Kristi, thank you too. I LOVE hair. That is definitely my favourite item in my wardrobe. I have a blond one too, but it somehow just doesn't work for me :(. But I have another auburn wig on order and it is real human hair too! Can't wait for it to arrive later this month. THEN the games can really begin.

I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone on the forum for the positive replies and suggestions. You are ALL AWESOME! I can't wait to get to my computer in the evening to see what news there is from around the world.
