We all love them. How often do we wear leather skirts?

2-3 times a yr. Although a classic, it seems to have gone out of style with the leather pants. I've seen very few to practically non-existant GG's wearing leather skirts or pants this past winter in Boston. Black leggings and North Face jackets seems all the big rage lately.

I don't wear my 3 leather skirts often enough. They would go great with my new tall leather boots. And maybe a pink sweater on top--sort of a contrasty thing. But yes, I agree, it takes the right occasion. Coffee shop fine. Walmart, naturally, shopping downtown--why not? .

Not anymore, but be for I gained to much weight, about 4 or 5 times a year. also had leather pants I loved, and wore more often.

I like them a lot and can never seem to not buy one more when I find one at a local thrift store for less than $10.00. I wear them during the winter maybe 2-3 times a month and just occasionally during the summer, very light Banana Republic or Anne Taylor suede. They look great on me and bring me a lot of compliments from others.

Forgive me, BUT, they seem sort of ****ty!

I rather enjoy dressing FEMININE, cute skirt or pretty dress. Stockings attached to the garters of my girdle, pretty lace covered Bra, either a Lacy Full or half slip.
Maybe a pretty clasp or ribbon in my shoulder length hair (wig, bummer I know).
cute clip on earings with matching neckless-------maybe a nice charm bracelett.

I adore heels, not high though, maybe 2 1/2" Pumps.

I have a very nice one but for some unknown reason, now I cant quite get it zipped up all the way on the side.So I try to zip it up as far as it will go and wear
a long sweater with it. I love the way it feels against my pantyhose when I walk.....lol, dana

I don't own any....but I was admiring a woman I saw who was wearing a leather mini, a pair of stilettoes, and a leather jacket in the JetBlue terminal at JFK airport in NY city yesterday. .......the stuff women do, ya know. SHe was with her husband or bf. I know she was trying to show off, but it also exemplifies this rediculously broad freedom women have in their choice of attire. That's why I'm so jealous.

I just bought a beautiful longer leather skirt (calf length) from eBay for $10. Definitely a steal, as it's very well made and butter soft. I wear it often, but as summer approaches it will probably be less frequent. I find a black leather skirt, jet black hose and heels to be elegant. A sweater, or dressy blouse is a perfect complement.

Just an update. I wore a nice Ralph Lauren black leather skirt last night. I was pushing the changing edge of season's but I also wanted to wear my lack leather knee high boots once more before they go back into summer hibernation. I loved my look last night and enjoyed a few compliments along the way.

I have several leather skirts. Unfortunately, only one of them comes anywhere near fitting right now. I am able to wear about 4 to 6 times a year. If I am ever able to get myself out of the back corner of this closet, I might wear it more often.

I agree with you 100%. One of the reasons I crossdress is to feel the same satisfaction that they do when they dress like that.

Talbots and Brooks Brothers don't sell leather skirts so I don't own any.

My leather skirt is long enough to just reach my knees. It fits well, and make my scrawny butt look fabulous. It cost me $10 at Value Village. I bought a new leather jacket to go with it. It cost $90!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks pretty hot though when out clubbing in the winter. I'll wear it for fetish night or when it's raining and going out, or just when I feel like a little leather.
