View Full Version : B careful what U wish 4
LMAO, because nothing else truly comes to mind. Since the beginning of transition and even the thoughts of it before, my height of 6'1'' was a serious consideration and source of disappointment when thinking of pass-ability.
Well, I have set out to change the world and change the world I did. Mesmerisingly I had arrived at 5' 10 3/4'' ecstatic.........that is until I had a chance to start in the industry (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?171468-OMG-OMG........omg-omg-omg) so foreign and dream like that it never seemed possible before.
Now, I am filling out the forms and where it asks for height I so want to put my former elongated silhouette yet I fudge a bit up to the nearest inch that being 5'-11'' LOL!!!!!!!
So, if you ever dwell on some aspects of your former body characteristic be careful because you just never know which and how they might become desirable.

isn't that funny! Remember Uma Thurman is 6'2" and you went and wished away 2" needlessly! Well, even at 5' 10 3/4" you still qualify as a tall, willowy blonde!

Funny, I was just remarking about this yesterday in my transition group. I'm 5'10" and used to be apprehensive about standing out (I know, the really tall girls are rolling their eyes) so I almost never wore heels. I realized that NOW I almost never wear flats and my new wedge sandals make me over six feet. I'm glad to not give a crap anymore what people see and think.

First of all I wish I understood american length system. Second I like being tall, 185+ cm. (^_^)

I used to be concerned about being 6' and wearing heels...
Recently I had to have foot surgery and as a result I won't have the range of motion in that foot to be able to wear anything with more than a 2" heel. Now I'm lamenting the loss...my how things change.

Can I ask out of pure curiosity where the 2 inches went?

Wishes are like dreams.A confusing inner desire of many desires. Some fade But many remain as phantasies. My wife is jealous of my long legs. She is a petite mature aged woman But a young girl inside trying to break out. I have been ill for the past 6 weeks after a heart attack. My Dr at the hospital was a 30 yr old woman tall and skinny with long red hair almost reaching the floor She is 6 foot 5 inches tall A beautiful lovable woman. I was really envious of her. She wore 4inch heels So she almost had to duck going through doors. She had incredibly long natural eyelashes . Jealous Very. But if I were a lot younger it would be easy to fall in love with her. I definitely at 5'6 had to look up at her
By the way she was a good vascular surgeon too who fixed me up so I can now walk again. All the nurses were short Asian women Lovely++++ I wonder if the had to stand on boxes by the OT table ? Maybe my beautiful had to kneel to do my op.?
I would love to be a woman But its also easy to fall in love with so many gg,
The opera aint over till the big tall fat lady sings~ Oh! I wish I was an Opera Singer too? Thats a bit of a tall order. I am 71 been a CD since childhood 65 yrs a CD Oh? To be young again and look like the girl I did when I was sweet 16

Hmmmmm, I was wondering was there a vertebra fairy, but never found a quarter beneath the pillow ( I think it should be worth at least a quarter ).
Former bodybuilder maxed at 227 lbs pure muscle 4 years ago, 6'1'', and then down to 159lbs calorie deprivation lifestyle, no exercise to loose all unwanted muscle mass and what ever fat there was, hormones, complete mind set on absolute transformation, the need was more then life it self, and belief that even though all that seemed unreal and farfetched it will happen for me! Well, it did........and how? I stopped asking for explanation and just thank the universe for showing me the way.
Now, if there are any feet length deprivation diets I am right on, come on foot fairy, I will even pay a dollar to get on your list!

I was 5 foot 10 3/4 inches most of my adult life, but by around about age 60, I noticed it had gone down to 5 foot, 10 inches exactly, though I have not measured myself-recently. When I was a guy, perhaps due to good posture, people typically would think I was six feet. Now, I am not sure, so maybe I should ask people how tall I look to them. People have referred to me as, "that tall woman," when they did not know my name, because among women friends, I do sort of stand out.
Metric conversion: @ 2.54 cm / inch, 6 foot = 183 cm
5 foot 10 inches = 178 cm and that is what is on my Canadian Driver's Licence, since we are on the metric system now, though we were not, when I first got my licence
I've gone from 5'10" (178 cm) to 5'8.5" (174 cm). Good for passability, perhaps, but also means even more weight to lose!

Consider yourself fortunate not to have to mess around with the horrendous conglomeration of units known as the "U S Customary System". We Americans are the oddballs of the world and probably should quote metric units as well as the US units - e.g., my height is 5 foot 10 inches (written as 5' 10") or 70 inches (There are 12 inches to a foot) or in metric it would be 178 cm (There are 2.54 cm per inch)
185 cm would be about 6'1" (6 feet is about 183 cm).
Hope that explains the feet and inch business.
