I Get To Be A Bridesmaid!!!

A former co-worker of mine (female) just got engaged not to long ago and just set a date for May of next year.

Now, I have 2 Facebook pages, one for Courtney and one for my Male self, both of which she is friends with.

I was logged in as Courtney and I figured, what the heck, and wrote on her wall, "I get dibs on a bridesmaid spot XD"

She replied to me with, "Courtney, I would be honored to have you in my wedding:) you'd totally rock out a dress:)"

In later conversation, I confirmed that she was serious.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.....I had a similar opportunity, though nobody knew I am a crossdresser. I had friends that were getting married, the groom had too many "best friends" to choose from and the bride had scant few. She asked me if I'd be a bridesmaid since I was the more feminine one of the groomsmen. I laughed it off, DARN-IT! I should have taken her up on that one. As it went, there were 6 groomsmen and 4 bridesmaids.

Congrats to you! In early April of this year, I too was asked to be Maid of Honor & wedding planner for my younger cousin - and I accepted! Ref my forum post "Wedding Request". It becomes abit hectic, but it is a once-in-a-life-time chance! So far everyone involved has been very accepting and helpful!
