Ok, so I wore my frilly flower patterned panties yesterday to work, and all day I was so self-conscience (I have a problem with plumbers butt sometimes), so I found myself constantly pulling up my pants and tucking my shirt down deep to ensure nobody saw anything (might be different if I had a pair that were adroynous that could be taken as male thongs, maybe black or white ones).. anyway, I've decided to try something new.. Wear panties first, then my male boxers over it.. That way I get to feel the tightness of panties while being doubly covered up just in case. I might buy some undershirts to go over my bra to cover any lines too.

When I was a teenager at school I did this for a while, wearing a pair of white cotton male undershorts over the pair of my sister's white cotton interlock "Cherub" brand knickers I was wearing. If I was wearing a pair of her navy blue knicks I wore a pair of black Gym shorts over these under my trousers. This was on non PE/Games days. I was worried that for some reason I might have to get undressed perhaps for a medical inspection or that the rougher lads might pull down my trousers. After a while this fear wore off. We were always informed the day or so before if there was to be a medical examination and in those days I would wear Y Fronts for such an event, and I am glad to say I was never "debagged" at school. Soon I stopped wearing these camoflage male underpants over "my" knickers, but I can see the sense in your wearing them over your panties Jo-ann in your situation. Another precaution is to wear a longer T- shirt or polo shirt which will cover your panties well and wear a belt to avoid your trousers/ jeans (pants in the US meaning of that word) from moving down as you bend over and revealing the back of your panties.

Well, sometimes I do wear underwear over underwear for that tuggy problem, but it is always a pair of panties over a pair of panties - sort of doubles your pleasure.

JoAnn, would a pair of plainer looking panties over the pretty ones accomplish what you want to do?

yeah, I need to get some black/white ones

I don't think this will help because of my indented waist.. they'd only slide back down into the crevice and then I'd be dragging the bottoms, unless of course I got a corset to create a higher indentation.

Not sure what you mean by indented waist but you should try on a pair I think you will be plesently supprised. Just be sure to try the highrr waist styles, not that cute low rise stuff all the teeny boppers wear. They have plumbers crack just standing sometimes.
You might fine that to fit your waist they will be loose in the hip and thigh. This is normal because we are shapped differently. I have found that stretch jeans with 1 or 2 percent spandex takes care of that. After a couple years wearing womans jeans I have noticed that my fat belly has been slowly reshaped and my natural waist line has indeed moved higher.
