last week I went out in a dress and gassed the car and drove around. Did not have a purse, and accessories, so Monday i bought a purse, clutch, wristwatch, bracelet to have them available in the future, as i do plan to go out some.
Today I had no intention, but with wife at work, one thing led to another, and i got fully dressed. Purple pullover and black maxi skirt with full accessories. Thought I would just cruise the mall, maybe stop and walk around parking lot.
Well....I did that, then parked at the Bergner's store, at the entrance to women's clothes. Walked in and began brousing the section. No one said a thing. I was at several racks with other women standing right across from me, looking at the clothes, and even making eye contact as we broused. Spent about 25 minutes wandering, and left.
Drove to other end and parked at the entrance to the women's section at Macy's. walked in and began wandering. Much more crowded here, had women and children around me continuously. Never a second glance, but lots of eye contact and smiles. Found a black blouse that was perfect. Had to have it, so I took it to the service desk. Lovely young woman processed my purchase, chatted with me, and showed no recognition, from no more than 2 ft away. I talked in the best female voice I could muster, never having practiced. She smiled, firmly placed the change in my hand and told me to have a good day. Very professional.
I can see now i will need to carry cash, as I do not know the reaction if I used my male credit card. Any experiences to share? Walmart just instituted a policy of matching ID to credit card.
I have a lovely new blouse that I bought out dressed as a woman. Talked with an SA, and mingled with a large number of women, up close and personal. Was i made, most likely yes. Did they react, no. It felt so good. i will follow up with a picture of my outing, and the purchases in the wardrobe forum, Just had to share my second outing.
