Just curious how many on here also have a fetish? Or consider dressing to be one?

That's how my CDF and I got to know each other, he loves my feet! :)

The whole process is one big fetish for me I guess you could say. Isn't one thing that I prefer over another. I like it all.

This is certainly not a fetish for me...it's who I am.
I guess if I do have one related fetish it's shoes. I've always had a "thing" for shoes, even when I was young. I would find some way to have my cousin, who was my size, swap shoes with me. She had these lovely patent leather Mary Janes. Now I think I have about 25 pair of shoes and find I'm always looking at the ads and such. Not that I need more, but it's like a drug...lol. Maybe I'm related to Imelda Marcos or something... :)

Yes, a leg fetish! Show me a woman with nice legs, put a miniskirt, pantyhose and high heels on her and *sigh*. She will own me.:)

I really love blood and needles, so much so I went to Phlebotomy School and after graduation was hired by a national laboratory as a part time Phlebotomist while maintaining my regular full time job..
My friend owns a funeral home and I have viewed many embalmings. The removal of body fluids including blood is what I really enjoy.

I guess CD overall is a fetish for me. The major subfetish within it would be thigh highs + garters. Sliding on a pair of silky stockings and doing up the clips sends my mind worlds away. It's difficult to accurately explain or describe.

Good morning! I had to look up the definition of fetishism before responding. According to the dictionary sexual fetishism is the sexual arousal from a physical object or s special situation. I will admit as a young teenager there was a sexual component to cross dressing. Now I do not know if that indicates that was a fetish or the woman inside exploring her own sexuality. Wearing feminine clothing and exploring oneself really is not the same as sneaking that illicit copy of Playboy into the bathroom or reading with a flashlight under the covers. I really never ask a GG what she may have experienced or done as a teenager. I can only imagine.

As an older woman and with some degree of maturity being en femme now has absolutely no sexual component to dressing. As I have expressed in other postings I truly believe many cross dressers are inhabited by a male and a female personna. Whenever Stephanie wants to come out, she is appropriately dressed in the style she feels comfortable in; dress, slip, hosiery and heels. I'm sure Stephanie's image of femininity was molded by examples of femininity encouraged in the 1950's and 1960's. Being totally en femme is not a fetish to me. To me a fetish would be more in line with wearing just a pair of panties. Or in the case of your friend an attraction to your feet.

While attempting to fill the void that I recently learned was caused by CD, I tried a few things.

1) I was a Furry in College (I was a bunny, lol)
2) I was into ABDL (Adult Baby/Diaper Lover)
3) I was into Ultra Submission
4) I was into Sissy

Some of my friends were furries, and I was adventurous, so I tried it. I had fun, but it wasn't my thing.
I enjoyed the baby life and I even was able to gain the mindset a few times, but it was destroying our marriage and it was easy to let go of.
I am still always ready for a submissive/painful night, so I guess that still sticks a bit.
Being forced into women's wear against my will was tough to do since I wanted it a lot more than my SO.

It isn't very amazing they all fall into the genre of femdom. I am a big advocate for a Female led world (as long as that fem isn't Hillary Clinton, lol!).

I saw the dressing seperate from his foot fetish in the beginning, but i'm not so sure. Cause painted toe nails and stockings all sort of fall into the CDing pattern as much as the foot fetish?

And I've read here that some think of the dressing as a fetish, but probably not for others.

It just makes me wonder if CDers are more apt to have a fetish?

Just thinking out loud here.

And Cheryl I am right there with you when it comes to shoes!! I can't help myself if it's cute I have to have it! Doesn't help that I shop for a living!

And balloons! I've heard of people afraid of balloons but now I'm going to look that up! :)

If you do something multiple times and have it display fetish attributes sometimes and not on other occasions, is it a fetish? Every CD experience is a unique event and sometimes it's pretty arousing, sometimes it's relaxing, sometimes it's just plain fun and every so often I can't wait to get it done and behind me. Is there a fetish in there? A fetish seems to imply there is a single sexual drive and goal for the fetish experience. However, as my years cross-dressing have increased there are multiple reasons and rewards for dressing, and very few of them are sexual. It's like so many other parts of this and other experiences, there are simple explanations that work as the "low-hanging fruit" and are gathered and used as The Explanation. But after a bit more investigation there are so many other bits and pieces that are valid and offer insight into behaviors that change over the years. Fetish may be part of the reason I cross-dress now, but it was much more significant when I was younger and just starting on this path. I've learned too much to still be behaving that way and driven by the same factors as when I was 20 or 30 or 40 years old.

I'n no sure about fetish? Maybe more a case of things i like more strongly than others.
Seeing a nice pair of legs in a skirt and nude or tan tights/pantyhose. I like that alot.
It can actualy take a bit of work but when somebody gets the style of swimsuit ( 1 piece prefered but some 2 pieces look nice) to match their figure. I realy like that.( and turn 40 shades of green too boot.)
Same with leotards. Hmmm. Nice.

I don't own rubber/latex/PVC ( considered fetish wear ) but i can see that attraction ;) :).

It just makes me wonder if CDers are more apt to have a fetish?

Just thinking out loud here.

I would normally stay away from responding to this kind of thread but as you are a woman and crossdressing being new to you, I feel compelled. The answer is NO. While you will get plenty of responses, there is no more statistical correlation between crossdressing and fetishism thanin the general population.

I am particularly bothered by assumptions about crossdresses being "more likely to..." do anything aberrant. While your friend may have a foot fetish, that is not because he is a crossdresser.

I apologize if I offended anyone, I've seen lots of posts about stockings and painting toes, etc. and I just was curious if they were related to CDing or if it was a seperate thought? For him it feeds into the crossdressing because he likes to do his own toes and wear stockings and look at them? The clothes not as often, but I wonder if that stems from the whole foot thing, maybe trying to expand on that in a way? I just wondered if anyone else is like that.

No fetishes for me I'm still trying to work through the "sex is icky stage" and it really stifles the imagination necessary for a fetish.

I would have to say that when I was married, we were sort of swingers. Not a lot, but occasionally. Turns out, I am cuckold in every sense of the word. Is that a fetish? Pretty sure it is. But the sheer idea of watching and if lucky, cleanup duty afterwards, just sent me over the edge.

Fetishes are fun if both partners are genuinely into it, such as a domme/sub BDSM relationship, or if it's a "once-in-awhile" thing like icing on a cake. :) But more often than not and for more serious fetishes, one partner fetishizes an object or a situation/scenario more than he is into having emotional sex with his non-fetish partner. The kink/novelty can be fun in the beginning of any new relationship (when the crush/romantic feelings are at a fever pitch), but after a while when the novelty wears off the non-fetish partner begins to feel like an accessory. Her needs aren't met. She discovers that sex with her partner isn't about having sex with her, it is all about the object/scenario, and she begins to feel that if she wasn't there, it wouldn't make a great deal of difference to her partner.

So she distances herself emotionally and sexually, their sex life dwindles, she either has affairs or she distances herself from her own sexual needs, while her fetish partner continues to enjoy a sex life either through auto-eroticism or seeking like-minded fetish partners in some cases.

This, I think is not unheard of among the fetish members of the CDing community. I also need to add, the scenario exists equally among non-CDers who are fetishistic.

The idea of wearing makeup, nail polish, and women's clothes as a normal, non_fetish way of being, sometimes turns me on. Not all the time, I think it was more of a turnon when,i couldn't do it. Now it is a way of being.

Everybody has a fetish of some sort. Whether they admit to it or not, that's an entirely different question.

I have a pantyhose fetish myself. I love a great pair of legs, followed by some cute feet in a pair of hose. I think that is how my CD'ing began and while the fetish is still there, and I still drool over the few hose/heels wearing females out there, I find that's not the reason I dress myself personally.

While My fetish is a sexual turn on for me, dressing is not. It's more about being myself at this point and being more at ease with my feminine side and my personal being.

I imagine that fetishes are very common and most people don't even think that they have one. When I started crossdressing I loved soft pretty slips and I still do. I have a huge collection. One of the things that I respond to is shiny material such as satin. I was in a restaurant a few nights ago and a lady came in with a lovely satin top and I had to keep stealing glances at it. I loved it and wished that it were mine. The shiny straps on bras are also very appealing. I know that I get a little sexual kick out of those things. I don't have a leather fetish but I do like bondage and domination. I was once with a woman dom who was so good at it that she had me more aroused than I had ever been, and she barely touched me. She had trained as a psychologist and she just knew how to push ones mental buttons.

i don't think that fetishes are something to be ashamed of. They are a part of you and came about because of something that happened to you long ago.

A long time ago...in a college far far away I was a TA for human sexuality. I believe although I have gotten older and my memory is going that a fetish would indicate that you need it to have sexual feelings. Or that seeing it or doing it causes sexual feelings. So I don't think a love of legs or breast always qualifies.

I know that quite a few men do have a fetish for dressing or components there of. I don't think there are a larger number of people here who are fetishists with anything as compared to the "normal" population. If you cannot function sexually without having the object then it is a true fetish and most here do just fine without panties or whatever. In other words the vast majority here are not fetishists as far as the clothing goes.

That said, I don't think I have a sexual fetish at all. I have proclivities (I love legs and I love short skirts) and I have curiosities (don't even go there). Usually at my age I have memories.

Lorileah, I think you have a better handle on this than others who have posted. I would only quibble about "true" fetish. If one cannot function sexually without the object, it would be a strong or extreme fetish. To be a true sexual fetish, one merely needs to get sexual arousal from the object, and not necessarily require it for arousal. But that may be trying to put too fine a point on it. Most who have strong preferences for certain items are not fetishists unless that item causes arousal. "I like pantyhose" is not a fetish. "Into shoes" isn't a fetish. Those of us who really have a fetish know it. Unfortunately, crossdressing driven by fetish has negative connotations, even here, or maybe especially here, as many "identity" dressers think of it as less legitimate than their own drive. Strangely, many who have a fetish won't admit it, and many who say they have a fetish don't. Like many other things, kept in proper check it can be a good thing, but can cause serious problems if allowed to get out of control.

Exactly. Merriam-Webster has several definitions for fetish. One of them is a charm, amulet, or talisman believed to hold magical powers. Only one of the definitions describes a sexual fetish and it is defined:

"an object or bodily part whose real or fantasied presence is psychologically necessary for sexual gratification and that is an object of fixation to the extent that it may interfere with complete sexual expression"

I would add to "object" any situation or scenario, since sometimes it is dressing completely like a beautiful woman more than specific clothing objects that do the trick. The key word here, is "necessary". In other words, without these objects/situations/scenarios/body parts, the plumbing just won't work, or the sexual experience won't be as good.

A lot of people do get turned on by each other's body parts (I rather think this is a normal part of the whole experience :)), and also use a variety of objects/scenarios as enhancers like sexy lingerie, soft music, whipping cream, or any number of toys, games, etc, and it's like icing on the cake. But they're not dependent on these things for performance or sexual gratification and sex with a partner is still pretty hot without these things.

The OP asked, "Do many of you have fetishes?" and I wonder how many people know what this is. Among the many answers, no one said whether what they described was something they engage in for fun once in a while, or whether these things are necessary for completion. The first is a casual enjoyment that is secondary to a partner, and the second is a fetish that takes center stage.

Leather and latex and boots, OH MY! Yes, I'll admit to a few fetish's. We spent a few years in the BD/SM community, not CD'ing. The CD interest was there first, but not acted on often.
When my wife withdrew from the scene, to take care of her parents, i started acting on my interest to start dressing. This she encouraged, but didn't participate much. After her parents passed,
she has become more active in my CD'ing. We may return to BD/SM, if her interest returns, dressing is here to stay for me though. Reine was right, it does take two to tango, and i'm just following
my partners lead. Boots are my true fetish though, admiring them on others or wearing them myself, this is my real hot-button.

Okay I'm going to jump in here and hopefully not go too far. I'm single and don't have a sexual partner in any way shape or form. So that means that I... you know. Fantasies of being a woman or being dressed completely as a woman are necessary for me to complete. My fantasies of late have been taking the form of being manuevered into femininity. When I am a complete woman it's got to be some form of technological or magical transformation and when it's just dressing I've somehow let myself get talked into it. Whichever way, it's for charity - breast cancer or violence against women or something similar and if I said no I'd be turning my back on the women I love. So, I agree to be sponsored to either be a real genetic woman for a certain amount of time, or dress fully as a woman for a certain amount of time. Of course, there are always reasons why the time has to be extended. I'm raising so much money that it would be wrong for me to change back, etc. Of course I'm completely thrilled by all of it but I can't say that because it might diminish the donation amounts. Eventually I agree to stay a woman or stay dressed as a woman permanently and that's the pinnacle of my fantasy. I cannot complete without imagining permanent femaleness. The fetish element is nylon tights. I have to imagine myself in nylon tights for it to work, although having a complete female body makes it much better.

This is only for me, but it's been my fantasy to be turned into a woman or dressed as a woman as far back as I can remember.

When I got back into crossdressing after a 9 year hiatus and purge, I hit my fetish first...real hard. I did this in order to understand myself.
then
I discovered that my fetish is a part of my male sexuality, and that my crossdressing in the public eye wants nothing to do with the male side of me, including male libido....that's where gender identity issues come into play. I enjoy being female ,or female-ish in the public spectrum. I ejnoy being on the other team, it makes me feel powerful for some reason.....it feels like freedom.

Reine, some sources, such as the one you cited, describe a fetish as being necessary for sexual gratification, but many sources don't. Here's one that says "may become necessary":
Something, such as a material object or a nonsexual part of the body, that arouses sexual desire and may become necessary for sexual gratification.
As you said, the key word is "necessary". Some people who have an otherwise good sexual experience may like the experience enhanced by the presence of certain objects. That doesn't make them necessary, unless you mean necessary for maximum excitement.

Anyway, here's the definition that followed the one above:
An abnormally obsessive preoccupation or attachment; a fixation.
Some CD's say that crossdressing is their fetish, and others disagree. It does seem to fit, according to this definition. And, this definition doesn't require a sexual connection. Can those who obsess 24/7 about their feminine side have a non-sexual fetish?

Nicole, that's my point.

No matter what the dictionaries say, there's a difference between a condition that comes between true enjoyment between two people, and one in which both engage in all in fun but isn't necessary for their enjoyment together.

If the various behaviors described here genuinely add to a couple's mutual sex life, then they are rather fun and there is no harm. But, if the fetishists prefer their fetishes over their partners, or if sex with their partners without the objects/scenarios/etc seems lackluster, then there is a problem that the partner will notice and that can eventually lead to distancing.

The difficulty when reading threads like this, is no one knows whether the behaviors described are "necessary" for completion (which would be problematic if their partners aren't into the fetish), or if they are just icing on the cake.

Another consideration: if the people in this thread are describing what they do on their own, or what forms a part of their fantasies only (for example if they're single or they only fantasize without doing what they describe), then I would caution against getting so used to sex with these objects/scenarios/fantasies that future sex with a willing, non-fetishist partner might prove difficult.

Tina is definitely NOT a fetish. She is a part of my being and expressing her is akin to breathing.

Having said that, is there really anyone alive who does not have something that would be considered a fetish? I'd be hard pressed to believe that is the case!

Defiantly have at least 3 breasts, bras and hair.

Were you in the movie "Total Recall"?
Sorry, I had to. :)

Since I have to add content:
It has nothing to do with being CD/TG but I'd like a guy or girl to be pretty rough with me, but I think that's too common to be anything special.

I agree you have a fantasy and not a fetish. My wife is off the entire summer (Mid June to Labor Day). Being retired I often have the fantasy I'd come home one day and find she has hidden all my male attire for the summer. She'd tell me since I like dressing as a woman, I was going to dress like one 24/7 for 2 1/2 months. I think my fantasy is directed toward my reluctance to go out in public during daylight hours.

I don't have any fetishes at all but I have often deamed about getting forced into dressing as a woman then getting the back of the dress pad locked, going for a ride in a car and getting kicked out onto the street and having to find my way home. No fetish here.

I hear ya 100% but to paraphrase Kaylee Frye from Serenity

Goin' on 30 years now I ain't had nothin' twixt my nethers weren't run on fantasies!

I'm more than willing to accomodate someone elses sexual desires, to satisfy them and form a brand new sexuality for myself. I'm just not willing to die of old age waiting for it to happen.

My SO gets turned on by men's satin soccer shorts, silky panties, swimsuits (Speedos and ladies), rubber outfits, and stockings. He has tons of all of these. While it doesn't bother me it doesn't turn me on, but if he has on one of these articles of clothing sex is much better. Well, come to think of it he always has one of these on so I think he does "need" it to complete. He's even stated that these are "fetishes".

While I don't consider it a fetish, per se, I do have a thing for silky stockings and shorter(er) skirts with just enough heel to make it interesting. One of my favorite presentarions is a businesswoman/professional outfit, with the racy lingerie underneath. After that, the bondage cuffs, chains and tight, restrictive corsetry all seem to fall into place.

No, I wouldn't say that I have any fetishes at all.

I certainly have a fetish for heels, fine and luxurious nylons and lingerie too. If presenting enfemme as classy with an air of sexy appeal is also a fetish, then I have 4 fetishes. Wont include the sexual variety here ;)

Yes, a leg fetish! Show me a woman with nice legs, put a miniskirt, pantyhose and high heels on her and *sigh*. She will own me.:)

In as much as fixations go, for me it is long hair and dresses or skirts. Love pleated skirts aka school uniform. I watch anime just so I can bask in all that I want to be. I like to enter the show and pretend it's me. I suppose the casual observer will think 'bloody pervert watching shows with minors in it'. No, I just like to enjoy the romantic comedies for what they are to me. I actually get annoyed when the show goes too far on the stuff targeted to young teen boys who like seeing pantie shots and girls with no clothes on.

I'm a big fan of Sailor Moon, I own the whole series on DVD (ok I have a mountain of anime in general). I identify with her in a lot of ways (unfortunately including being a cry baby too much). I've watched a lot of shows featuring (only possible in anime of course) where the guy has something happen to him and poof he's now female. Oh if it was only soo easy to change like with Ranma 1/2 by dunking myself with cold water and be genuinely female, and then change back with hot water. Or another show Kashi Mashi Girl meets Girl. About a guy that has a space ship crash on him, he dies, the aliens rebuild him from the cell up, but they accidentally make him a female.

These shows give me a way to escape my real world.

I listen to music as I walk (on my head phones), and I am told I like chic music :) by my friends. I like to listen and silently imagine it is my voice I am hearing.
I doubt I would be too shy to do karaoke, but I'd have to listen to my actual voice and that would just ruin it for me (not to mention I can't sing worth a damn hehe).

I am not sure though, just how much I really need to do to look 'female'. It has been my notice, most women wear clothing that might as well be men's clothing. Jeans with some embroidery are not really much different.
What DOES bother me, is looking at women and the first thought going through my mind is YUCK, clearly men don't own 'can't dress themselves worth a damn'.

Not sure precisely how vital is my need to wear the skirt to look like a female. Been wondering, do I really just need to get from the neck up done correctly?

The world sure has a lot of very overweight, very poorly dressed, lousy hair do, genuine females in it.

Reine, I feel I owe you an apology for my last post. It's been bothering me all day. I was being bitter about my lack of success in relationships but looking back I can see how it might look like I was aiming it at you. That's not what I intended and I'm deeply sorry if that came across.

I'm not sure I can explain the difference between preference and fetish for me. It's all intertwined in the subconscious. Plus I was born technically intersexed (non descended testicle by the age of one with the physical manifestations of late puberty, being short for my age etc). There has always been a female inside of me and a male inside of me. Which one is dominant changes day to day and with circumstances. I take all those quizzes that you get online and I invariably get 'you are female'. I took the COGIATI test too. Often I'm very happy to be male and other times my mind is completely focused on the female. I suppose I'm lucky in a way that I can express both sides in a way that has very little impact on my life. My occupation is caregiver for my mother who has advancing Alzheimer's. This has put me in the position of being the woman at home. My dad died 7 years ago, and along with my mother I live with an older brother. He also considers me to be the woman and my friends joke that he nags me like a spouse. He doesn't have any respect for what a woman does, so ladies I feel your pain. After the surgery to 'correct' my birth defect, the hospital destroyed my records. Our family doctor did his best to find out what I'd had done but it was brickwalls at every turn. They flat out refused to tell my parents what they had done. I have no idea what they found inside me but I suspect I may have had more female internal parts. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid. But anyway, that's my mindset when I'm approaching my sexuality. I'm part male and part female. But only the expression of my female self is sexy to me. I've always felt that women have much nicer bodies and wear much more attractive and sexy clothes than men. To covet those things for myself was natural to me and to visualise myself as the beautiful woman in the sexy clothes is, and has always been very arousing to me.

Now on the other hand, as a male I'm actually not unattractive. I hit a growth spurt eventually and topped out at six feet, I'm slim build with a full head of medium ash blonde hair (yes, I know, the ladies prefer the short chunky bald guys). I can fix a car and all of that stuff but I'm not turned on by my male self even though I know he's pretty okay in his leather jacket and black jeans.

I'm not sure I'm helping here. I can be my guy side without anyone batting an eye, but being my girl self would be admitting something very deep about myself that would be difficult. Everyone would know I liked it *that* way. And that I think is the dichotomy. Becoming my total female self would be so liberating but it comes at such a risk.

And of course I'm not answering the original question (again) (sorry). What I'm saying is for me, I'm prewired in certain kinds of ways but I would definitely be open to new ways of sexual intimacy. My partner would have to accept me as I am but I'm open to new ideas in a loving relationship. I do know a few women that accept me as a part male/part female person but alas they are way too young for me.

I get a real arousal whenever I feel the smooth silky satin material of any nice ball gown or prom gown against my skin. Add to that the soft fluffy feel of the petticoats underneath. Then add to that the swishing rustling sound of all those garments as I am twirling about .... heaven for me!!

I definately will say that the gown and the petticoats are a fetish for me and the only reason for me to CD. CD is a fun hobby for me and gives me endless sexual thrills whenever I am dressed in those lovely gowns from the 1950's.

Like a lot of you, I got a big thrill from dressing, initially. Now it's just part of my personality. Though I'm a fiend for cute shoes, socks, and nail polish.

As far as sexual interests, I wouldn't say that I require any of it to get off, but I certainly have things I like. I'd much rather play the submissive partner in things, though I'm not into the pain aspect of it (but I am of the try anything once mentality). I'm kind of interested in the sissy subculture, but I think it's mainly from the dressing feminine while still being obviously male facet of that particular kink.

When I started wearing my sister's clothes, cross dressing was defiantly a fetish. When I got married in 1991 it still was and I was very submissive to my now ex wife and we experimented in many things sexually, from toys, ropes and restraints, Spankings, Diapers and adult baby clothes, breast and penis pumps. Some of these things we did lasted through our 18 years together but after dressing for so long I don't feel that is a fetish for me anymore but a way of life. Everything else we tried still is a fetish for me and willing to explore it again with my next significant other. :)

I actually have a fetish maybe a few fetishes (more like kinks maybe) but I definitely know for sure I have one. I have a sweater fetish and have had an attraction to sweaters ever since I can remember. Sweaters have always stuck out to me and whenever a woman is wearing one it usually catches my eye. Love the way they look, feel, the different styles, love buying them, love how comfy and cozy they are. Big turn on for me whether it be me wearing them personally or seeing another woman wearing one. I only like women's sweaters and I would also have to say that is also what eventually got me into trying out other types of women's clothing. Eventually bought some of my own sweaters and started wearing them and loved it but when I was wearing some of my sweaters one day I felt like something was missing since that was the only piece of women's clothing I was wearing, the rest all guy pants and socks. So one day I decided to try out yoga pants and absolutely fell in love with them. Then I also eventually bought some leggings, yoga leggings, tights, fuzzy socks, fuzzy toe socks, and some fleece jackets. There is still some other pieces of clothing I would like to try out and eventually will. Now I whenever I decide to wear a sweater I usually put on some nice yoga pants and relax :) I still have more sweaters than I do other clothes but I'm still expanding my wardrobe a little bit at a time. Whenever I go shopping the first section I go into is the sweater section and usually find a few that I like. But anyways that is my fetish and I absolutely love everything about it :)

In none of my other "associations" (work, family, friends, clubs, etc.) do we quibble over definitions like we do here. Maybe we should approach it differently: define a term, then ask the question or invite responses based on this definition.

Instead, we end up all over the place.

Do you have a fetish? Are you transgendered? Transvestite or crossdresser? Passable. Femininity. Woman. and, of course, sl*tty.

This is an excellent idea!! :)

I've read a lot of material, studies on transness, sexuality, etc and I equate "fetish" with a paraphilia, which is something that may start out being fun, but develops into a condition that negatively impacts a person's life ... like the sex addict who can't focus on his work because he's constantly going to the men's room to relieve himself, or the porn addict who loses the ability to make love to his wife without all the porn (which might be fine if she's into it, but a complete disaster if she's not).

Whereas most people in this thread seem to take the word "fetish" as a harmless preference. This is fine, but people reading this who know what real fetishes are might get the wrong impression about CDers in general.

You have chosen.... wisely! :-) Very good taste, same here. Also uniforms & costumes, if they are well made- no cheap stuff.

Many others as well, What's not to like? Mostly having to do with intensifying the feelings of femininity, perhaps a reaction to not being able to dress 24/7...
