First I want to say a big thank you to Shannon in particular and all the other girls too, (thank you, thank you, thank you) who with the stories of her (their) exploits has helped me to pluck up the courage to actually do this.

I have been wanting some for a long time, but today at lunch time, I went shopping a tried on a pair of knee high boots, in the store. It was pretty quiet and while I don't know if anyone saw me, it was a great experience. Its nice leaving a store and kowing that your purchases are absolutely going to fit.

Hopefully my courage will soon extend even further. Thus I hope it wont be too long before I can tell you all about an even better shopping trip, but this one lifted my spirits for today, and a I got a great pair of boots too. :D

Oh and I almost forgot I made an appointment to get my nails done after work. More fun.

I just need to dig out the camera from somewhere. My webcam just don't cut the mustard.

Susan, I am so proud for you. It must have been exciting and then to know that the style and fit are right. Super duper. I am also looking forward to those photos.

Hugs,

Tiff

There's nothing like shopping is there, Susan?
Congratulations on plucking up the courage and getting out there. And now you're having your nails done? Bravo!

Susan, I am so happy for you! I think you'll find your comfort level rises very quickly -- mine certainly did. It's wonderful that your shopping experience was positive and you got a pair of boots that you wanted.

Now, let me share with you one of the down-sides to shopping I've experience lately....when I do need some drab clothes for work, like a shirt or shoes....I find the selection for males boring, thin, and totally unappealing to me!

I appreciate you pointing out how my stories, among others, helped you get out there. Isn't the strength and confidence we all draw from each other here amazing!

Happy Shopping!
