View Full Version : Strange Problem

I enjoy wearing panties, pantyhose, girdles and tights....they feel just right to me, but they also fit just right. I read articles here about tucking, well the truth of the matter is there is nothing there to tuck. My male part seems to be vanishing on its own. No meds, no surgeries, but the littler fellow just keeps getting littler. I am a diabetic, so maybe that is the reason for this happening, but when I wear female garments that are tight in the crotch area, there is no apparrant bulge present.

I also can't really get much of an arisal out of it anymore. Wife and I have worked out means as substitutes for this problem, we both are still very satisfied, so that isn't an issue. I'm virtually 64, and way too embarrassed to discuss this with a MD. I lie on the questions about ED. I really don't want to become female...no surgeries desired. But it has been years since I urinated in the usual male manner...I'm strictly a sitter not a pointer.

Should I just keep enjoying living pretty much female in a semi-male body? My wife has no complaints, by the way.

In my opinion. I would say sure live the way you are. As long as both you and your wife are happy and contented. However I would discuss this issue with your doctor. Mainly for the diabetic issues.

I'm almost 65 and at our age we really don't have to "prove" anything to anyone, one way or the other. Enjoy being who you are.:)

If you and your wife are happy... what's the problem?

I am 80 years old and have had the same problem as you have for many years. My dear wife passed away 7 years ago so no problem there. My MD does know about my problem, but has no answers or help. I actually like the idea of having no bulge in my panties, although like you I have no desire to become a woman!! I am just happy to be me, a very feminine person in a male body!

If it's not an issue to you and you are embarrassed to discuss it with a Dr then just live with it.
There are many ways to be intimate (obviously you've found some) and penetration isn't necessary for that.

I am 75 and have some of your same concerns, when we age things change and the medics don't have any solutions. Just enjoy every day and watch your blood sugars like a hawk watches a field mouse.

I'm another with similar problems, have your doctor check your kidneys, it's one of the things that can cause it.

My guess is that the diabetes has caused some nerve problems that are not closing the blood flow valves to your penis. Meds may be able to help or you may want to investigate a penal pump. Yes, there is a small surgery required, but the outcome "for me" way overshadows the surgery. After all, you have a long life ahead of you. Most of the device is internal & except for the very small part in your sac, no one would know you had a pump. But, the most important thing is talk to your doctor. They have heard it all before. Be truthful with yourself, it must be of some concern, or you would not have posted the question. From what you wrote, the slow urine stream is probably a bigger concern. Good Luck .......

One of the most common effects of diabetes is damage to the cardiovascular system, and ED is often a conspicuous manifestation of deteriorating circulatory system. I would consult with your physician to address this an other possible damage in the peripheral arteries and veins of you extremities. This is nothing to take lightly.

With diabetes, the disease does damage nerve systems. the meds along with cholesterol, and high blood pressure accentuate ED, so there may be many things going on. I am all of the above, and at 65 face the exact same problem Will discuss it with the Doc, cause wife has said no go to anything without IT, and i am fighting to keep her confidence that I am the man she married many years ago after my revelation to myself and coming out to her a mere 8 months ago.

My answer is of course YES, keep enjoying living pretty much female if no one is complaining. One does what one has to do to keep doing this. Just make sure the doctor knows so they can be aware of any problems that may be developing.

I have the same thing as you have; and no problems with wearing panties etc.
My wife and me have worked out similar things also. My doctor has me on some
blood pressure med's as well as for diabetes. I take blood tests every 4 months for
all the above mention items.
My wife is OK with me dressing, as long as I stay in the closet. Under dressing is OK.
also. You are not alone in this world, I bet many who have diabetes have much the
same thing; It goes along for the ride as it where.

If you want to do something about it, there are probably a number of things you can do. If you have type 2 Diabetes, your Doctor probably suspects you might be having problems. But, he/she won't bring it up. You will have to take the first step.

Here's a good starting point, and not nearly as intimidating. Next Visit, just say: "I'm having some problems, could I please get a blood test for testosterone levels?" From there, it's very likely you will come back with a low testosterone level, and then Doc can give you some options. Of course, E.D. can also be caused by The Diabetes, and there are further options you can explore. It's quite amazing how much easier it gets to talk about these things once you have made a start.

Now, all of this advise is based on whether or not you want to do something about the problem. If you AND your spouse are happy....then, never mind!

Peace and Love, Joanie

You can still enjoy living pretty, but that isn't a solution to your problem. ED is so common now that they have devices for helping with erection--besides Viagra. The problem could be hormones, could something very serious, and to not attend to this, could mean cheating your wife out of your continued presence. If you have health insurance (or not), you should make an appointment ASAP with your Dr. diabetes is also not to be fooled around with if it is type 1 as it could impact your eyesight, your feet and hands and other things as well.
There is a saying that is: "a doctor who treats himself has a fool for a patient". diagnosing yourself will only hurt you in the end. Soapbox closed.
best to you
ps: I'll be 69 in a few weeks and surviving lung cancer. Doctors don't have all the answers but they have more than I do or I wouldn't be here.

Talk to your doctor about it! If he is a professional, he will not judge you and you should have nothing to fear from talking about your most intimate issues (if he is not enough of a professional you can feel comfortable talking to him, find another doctor.)

Even if you don't care about using your male anatomy, it might be indicative of other, potentially serious health problems. It is important to take this kind of thing seriously.

Your symptoms could be caused by something serious. Please see a doctor and don't be afraid to mention the problem. You will not be the first to bring this up to the doctor who is trained to respect their patient and attend to their needs.

Susan, this is important! Listen to Vickie and Leann! Your future health may be at stake!

Why can't u tell your doc? Do u both play Sat. poker in the big game at Fred's house? Or, if he's a she, get your nails done at the same salon? This IS important! U should either tell your doc or switch to one u CAN!

Hiring a physican to take care of your health is not like hiring a guy to take care of your lawn. You have to be an active participant in your healthcare. Follow your doctor's recommendations and communicate. There is no reason to be embarrassed talking about health issues just as there is no reason to be embarrassed talking to the lawn guy about a weed.

TALK WITH YOUR DOCTOR

I'm with the rest of the pack here! You need to tell your doctor because even though it is nice from a CD stand point your ED could be a warning sign of a very serious issue that needs to be addressed ASAP.

I agree with Stephanie. I'm 73 and have seen my genitals becoming smaller and less sensitive to any stimulation. This is not an issue with me since I'm totally content with being able to dress feminine and not have a noticeable bulge.

I am pretty much the same situation as far as male part been sitter for years, also thankful because of shrinking violet I don't have tucking problem I read about so much. Like nice natural flat front girl look that lets me feel I'a the girl I was meant to be. I say keep enjoying living female. I also have strong female facial bone strcture and features and body shape that helps.

If you can't talk to your Dr. about it, find a good Urologist. It should probably be checked out.

Thank you everyone for your kind, considerate responses. I'm under the regular care of an endocrinologist for the Type 2 diabetes...I've progressed from oral meds to Insulin...which I dreaded the thought of for years...and turns out to be no problem at all. I see this doctor every 3 months. He also has me seeing a kidney specialist and a foot doctor...they regularly monitor those things people have mentioned. I've recently gone through extensive testing with a cardiologist, which eliminated heart problems.

My wife always accompanies me to medical appointments, as I do her. I'd be very uncomfortable discussing this with a doctor with her in the examination room. And if I asked her to leave, she'd be frightened that there was something terribly wrong...I don't want to worry her. It is somewhat of a relief to read thast there are plenty of others in my condition that are experiencing the same things.

By the way, someone misunderstood my urination condition...I don't have a decreased urine flow, I just can't stand to urinate ant longer...I sit the same as every female does to do this necessity of life.

Susan, I am assuming that you and your wife are not joined at the hip, so just make an appointment, say your are going to the library or whatever, and just get it done. Besides, if you can share your crossdressing with your wife, sharing your ED problem ought to be a piece of cake. Anyway, no excuses this time, MAN UP, and get yourself to a urologist. She would most unhappy if your DIED!

Susan, I'm just a couple of years behind you, and have been experiencing a similar situation. Since menopause, regular relations have been to painful for my wife, so we have found other ways to stay intimate. Lately when dressing the boys head north and "little willie" goes turtle. I have no health issues and frankly find it advantageous when dressing. If you are happy, and wife, enjoy life as you want.
