I go through phases of wanting to keep crossdressing to myself, keep a low profile, don't take any chances. Then I can't wait for an opportunity to get dressed up and hit a club downtown. I get this desire to strut my stuff! This urge has repeated I've notced.

My wife knows but that's it, I like the closet.

Any of you girls find this the case?

With me the urge to "just do it" is always there but life dictates a lower profile...........................Debra

i am who i am when i want to be who i am. i spend about a quarter of my time as me, the other time i am him. i don't do this by choice but by mood or desire, thus, i am when i want to be. i need more outside clothes, most of what i have i consider bedroom or lounge wear, gosh, i need so much!

The worry is on my mind. I only have limited times to dress, which may be more than a lot, so it is hard for me to judge the ups and downs of any urge. In my present situation the cycle is whether to dress to go out or stay in. I have given in to the going out recently, but have never met anyone else who knows what I do, except for the wife, and I can't share with her right now.

Yea I get the urge to go out totaly in fem. Life dictates that not will happening any time soon. The next best way that I find to go out is wear everything fem but is not too fem to notice much. I have been in the pink fog for a couple months and have been pushing the boundaries much further than have in the past. Yesterday walking the neighborhood with my jeggings, fitflops, pearl necklace and tank. I even polished my nails last night a sparkly green to match my top.

No matter who or how you present there will be periods where you act differently than you did before, or will do later. Examples; school to a job, a different job, married or not, kids or not, retired, etc. All these are "phases".

Dressing is no different, sometimes I want to dress more Fem but going out like that is still not a good idea. I can go out dressed in Fem-casual and it works for my life-situation now. Will I change, probably I will. When that happens is difficult to describe. The underlying goal is however to maintain a "comfort zone" that works for me and for my wife. All life is composed of "phases".

Enjoy life,

Nah, I pretty much integrate dressing with my daily activities, both at home and out in public. I may be getting old and lazy, but I don't have a lot of enthusiasm for clubbing....in reality I never did.

I happily live in my closet, with no one knowing but the wife, but there are days, I look out the window, like a house cat, wondering what it's like out there. But then I turn back to whatever I'm doing and it goes away.

I love to dress, however because of deal with wife, I stay in the closet, way in the closet.
I do under dress to the point I go out with everything fem but hair and makeup.
I love my fem jeans. Sorry Karren.

I've been i na mode for a few weeks now where I just have no urge to dress. For a while I had little to no urge to keep up with this site, but I'm slowly getting back to, err, normal. :)
