Wow, This question has gotten me really thinking. Some of these younger Chicks Britney and the like are alittle to too. If you know what I mean!


So, I'ld have to say alitle Samatha, alittle June Clever, alittle Lucy, and maybe alittle of the older woman who plays in CSI Las Vegas. Someone with a past but smart and dresses well! Even in the vegas desert tracking a case! My Mom was the ultamite June Clever! Never left the house with out full make up heels and hoes! Just right. Drove my Dad nuts ! She even did the house work in Heels! Now Lucy, dressed great and was mad capped as well.
That's me I'm bewiched and twiched, never go out, as a woman, without make up heels and hoes and love to be alittle mad capped as well. I'm smart! :D I don't have a past, however! :eek:
Oh and the actress who plays in the other CSI, CSI Maimi. She's was a CIA agent detailed to the president! How cool is that! :p Being a woman in a traditional Male role and doing it well is the ulitmite dream of mine. Not a Firefighter or something butch!

It would absolutely be Marlene Dietrich. Perhaps the most sensual and glamorous woman of modern times. Plus... she was a famous crossdresser... always wearing men's clothing and still looking gorgeous. She may have been rebelling against the ultra-glam image that the Hollywood moguls promoted... or she may have been Transgendered! Whatever the case, she certainly challenged the roles of gender and may have been responsible for making it fashionable for women to wear a man's clothes. What we need, today, is to have a man as famous and glamorous as she was to start wearing women's clothing and make it look "normal" and chic! Antonio Banderas comes to mind. Brad Pitt wore a cute mini dress in a publicity photo for Rolling Stone magazine but it didn't cause much reaction... and he looked great, too! If Ricky Martin would just get "glamorous", he could take CDing to a new level ! ! ! :rolleyes:

I loved Patrick Swayze, also, and every outfit he wore in To Wong Foo. I watch that movie at least once a month and always learn something new.

Jackie Kennedy is also a good choice. Every woman I knew wanted to dress like her. Loved the little pill box hats and gloves were still in fashion.

Interesting thread, for sure. A very wide variety of looks and styles.

The photo of Sandra Bullock is priceless. She has a great modern, non-conformist style and looks great in jeans but cleans up really well, too!

I have to agree with Tammygirl, too, in that I pattern my style more on the 50s television housewives... June Cleaver, Loretta Young and Harriet Nelson. Now, I don't go out in that look but just love the 40s and 50s styles. (When I go out, I look more like Mel Gibson in a broomstick skirt. :eek: <sheesh...>)

Since this is a fantasy thread... if I could wake up looking like CATHERINE DENEUVE, I'd be one happy gal ! ! !
