Things I hate and love about transitioning

So I just got in from cutting the grass and have discovered that the lawn mower seemed heavier to push this time around, so with that being said;

Things I hate: :thumbsdn:

Loosing muscle, lots of stuff seems so much heavier now
My boobs ache all the time
Electrolysis (painful)
Coming out (scary, sometimes embarrasing)

Things I love :thumbsup:

Softer skin
More feminine features
long hair
wearing dresses
love the shoe selection
new and better friends
coming out (a huge load lifted off of my shoulders)
electrolysis (one step closer)
Did I mention shoes?? yep
i feel so much better than I have ever felt
the emotional side
hmmmmm more good things about this than bad


How about you ladies, what do you hate about transitioning and love?

What I hate about it:

How much my family is sacrificing for me to do this
Dealing with my boss
Thinking about it so much
Seeing how much pain my mom is in over it


What I love about:

Not being a guy
getting to be myself
It is easier to look at myself in the mirror
Shoes!

Off the top of my head

Hate:
Still being "sirred" on the phone
Not being able to lose weight quickly enough (esp since I sprained my ankle and can't go out walking)
Never having anything to wear

Love:
Being true to myself
Being accepted as a woman by people of all ages
Being befriended by lost of women at work who never even looked at him
Jewellery (according to some friends I'm very girly)
Not having to pretend to be a man
Manicures/pedicures/spray tans as a treat

What I love about it:
Everything.

It's all good to me. I guess I could complain about some situations in my life (everybody has a gripe or two) but all-in-all, I feel blessed.
I got to keep the worthwhile people in my family (especially my mother). I kept just about every friend I made before transition.

And I'm making new friends every day.

What could be bad?

i look upon transitioning as a necessity for some transgendered who are transsexual.
it is a challenge, an opportunity, a heartache, a must, it is uncharted territory and it is victory all in one!

I say to that is..... Get a riding mower, you will look so much better riding than pushing.

1. The cost of everything
2. The time it takes out of your life seeing therapists and ect.

Things I love is:

1. The end results of just being me.
