The Meaning of Lila continues

Looks like Lila (http://www.comics.com/creators/lila/) is at it again. This week the subject of this week's strip is metrosexuals.

Lila and her friend are at bar, trying to figure out whether the cute guy they've got their eye on is so well-dressed that it means he's gay.

Friend: Straight men are taking such good care of themselves, it's hard to tell the difference.

Lila: Remember the good ol' days when straight men were homely and out of shape.

More conversation and Lila's friend laments that due to metrosexualization it's hard to tell if the guy you're talking to is straight or gay.

Lila: Well, if you're enjoying the conversation he's probably gay.

Lila: *looking frustrated* I'll never meet a man.

Not sure why Lila's so disheartened by the news, afterall she's still got a 50/50 chance with him. :p

I still think she should go out with the CrossDresser. He was tasteful and pleasant, and respectful of her. See how we are? And he would have adored shopping with her. But it looked like he was not quite her same size. Oh, well, so much for sharing. But I'll bet that given half the chance, she would have really liked him.

Well apparently he's a size 13 shoe, so apparently he is quite a bit larger.

I did email the authors thanking them for the nice treatment and suggesting it would be great if Bill made reoccuring guest appearances -- after all Lila could use a good shopping companion. ;) We'll see if I get a reply.
