Or so says my roommate... I look really good at a distance, up close I'm a hot mess lol.
I love her, so let me explain. Over the long weekend I decided to drag the wife out of the house and go for a bike ride, we are way behind on miles this spring. Near us there is a bike trail that runs along the E-way. I t was just repaved and is always empty.
I decided to wear my usual riding clothes, sports bra with a cami over it, short bike shorts with running shorts over them and a bandana.
It was hot, 92 I talked at a resting point about just riding in my sports bra. I didn't feel to comfortable with how I looked, so I left it on. About another mile down the road I had enough, off came the top. As the trail once again got close to the E-way the horns started. The first couple, I didn't think about, but all of the sudden it hit me . They were honking at us.. There were no other riders on the trail, and guys waived at us.

The next day while I was riding, different path it happened again. Horns and wolf whistles, and one guy who slowed down and paced me for about a half mile, despite my being on a bike path well of the road.
I did 20 miles of rolling hills in high humidity in the high 80's I was dirty sweaty feeling/looking nasty.
So, I get home and tell my wife and roommate what happened, that is when she said "You're a Monet, you look really good at a distance, or at a glance. But up close you are a hot mess"
I am happy to say, that I am not a Piccaso. :)

Impressionism is good to go with, cubism less so! Monet is good... I am working through your take on Picasso... sadly it appeals to my surrealist natrure, although I do know where you are coming from! and no... me neither!

Looks like you had a great trip though!

I'd like to be a Rembrandt, but I don't make enough Monet to pay for the makeover..

Thanks for the compliments, the wife has been pushing me to become more comfortable with my body and not be such a prude. It was her calling me "chicken shit" that finally broke the camels back to take off my top. Over the last year I have been fighting to lose weight and tone up before I start HRT. Which is going to be ... Holy Crap next month! I am hoping that I can keep the tone I have found.

Who woulda thunk there would be arty folk on a TG board.

Geee you have started me thinking...hmmmm....I way think I am a Renee Magritte (http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=renee+magritte&qpvt=renee+magritte&FORM=IGRE#x0y0) a surrealist just like DALI was. To some I look very pleasing but to my self I perceive all the intricacies of blemish.
