i am wearing my new wig and am appreciating how i look and feel. i have a cute dress on with matching cardigan, my girly flats and i have short hair styled wig. i look like a "punk rock" chic!

It feels great!

I want to go out and dance!

It is nice to see myself dressed with a wig! It does make a difference!

When you completed the look with a wig did it give you more self confidence to be yourself and venture out?

I never went out with a wig. I bought two... but really hated how I felt wearing it... I felt like a fraud. It did make me look better in the mirror though. But at that time, I was exploring who I was anyway, trying to figure out if I was CD/TG/TS/ALIEN or whatever, so I wasn't going out much anyway.

What's important is that you do everything you can to be comfortable, and go out and be yourself as often as you can. The more you are able to be yourself in your day-to-day life, the more you will learn about yourself and who you are. Even if you still hate what you see in the mirror, you gotta get out there and learn to be comfortable with yourself. Push yourself!

Congrats on the wig, I hope it gives you the confidence you deserve.
I wore wigs very early on and found them very hot during the summer. THey were nice since they were an instant change which was very nice while still in the closet. My wife and I shared a couple she is a drag queen at heart...

After a windy day my wife pointed out where the cap could be seen I became more self conscious about it. After that I started growing my hair out, and I rock the short hair look a while.
