I am very grateful for what I have been able to learn from this site. For me it is somewhat new and a little confusing at times. I have felt this way all of my life that I can remember anyway, so since about four years old, but it wasn't until I found this site and explored the many forums within it, that I was able to really understand myself and exactly who and what I am, which is not the CD I always thought, but in fact TS. So I thank you all for being here to help me along in this journey, and for sharing your experiences so that I can better understand my own. We are truly lucky to live in an age when this kind of place exists, I cant imagine having to deal with this and feeling like I was the only one out there.

I did deal with this alone from 1988 until 2011. It is very hard, indeed. Like you, I have discovered more about myself here, and how I fit into the trans phenomenon. Like you, I have found I am TS, not CD. Can't say this makes me happy, but at least I am coming to grips with my life. Honesty is a good thing.

This site has been important to me since I discovered and joined almost 3 years ago, but I never knew how important until recently.

I moved from Chicago to a small town in Michigan and feel like a fish out of water more than ever. In Chicago I was 2 blocks for the heart of the GBLT community. I was a regular at one of the bars and had several friends there.

It might be all in my head, but based on looks I feel I'm getting no one around here has ever seen a tg up close and personal.
