I apologize for this is not the right forum for this but in lieu of the many wonderful women I have met here, I feel it is right to post here. I am leaving tomorrow for pre deployment training for my 5th tour and wanted to say goodbye till next year when I return!

I have had an amazing time learning and growing with you all!

Take care,
Danika

Danika,
I will give you the same advise I gave my son, before his deployment.
1. Stay aware of your surroundings. 2. Keep your head and butt down.
I thank you for your service and pray for your safe return.

Thank you to everyone for your wonderful words of encouragement! I just finished Evasion & Conduct After Capture (ECAC) training and now doing Document and Media Exploitation training here in Virginia. In two weeks I will be in New Jersey for five weeks of combat training then off to Afghanistan for six months.

For those that are interested, I will post my APO address when I know what it is.

Thank you again for your wonderful words and support!

God speed and you will remain in my prayers until you safe return to our community. As others have said thank you for your service, your sacrifice allows all of us to be free to be who we are. Be safe, and now that there are many of us thinking of you. Please post if you need anything and I am sure we will respond.
