We were in the car on the way to a Father's Day dinner. I was trying to get into male mood to go with my drab male attire.

I was making various grunting and woofing sounds in my deepest voice. At one point I pounded my chest and did a sort of Tarzan growl (the car is too small for a full-throated Tarzan scream).

My spouse said, "That was just plain silly! You never made a noise like that when you were a guy!"

Hugs,
Persephone.

Maybe there should be a rebirth of the old TV show " Spouses say the darnest things" LOL!!

All the best, BobbieB

That is pretty cute. the other day, we were sunning by the pool and I made some comment about not wanting a tan line...to which my wife replied "You're such a girl".

So cute and, I guess, appropriate?

Well is she right, did you make those grunting sounds when you where a guy? By the way, I know you've been trying, but when did you officially stop being a guy?

Maybe you should invent some sounds while you are in female attire.
Then you could play them back at the appropriate times; Man when a man,
female when dressed.

You should have gone for a "Dean scream"

Oh, wait. You were trying to sound manly? Maybe not.

Well is she right, did you make those grunting sounds when you where a guy?

I did/do have a repertory of odd grunts and woofs in boy mode, but had never done Tarzan-like chest pounding sounds before.

By the way, I know you've been trying, but when did you officially stop being a guy?
Tina B.

Nail on head, Tina, that's the problem -- I haven't officially stopped!

Persephone.

Not something she says, but my wife will often snap my bra strap.

In the future, simply review the first few minutes of 2001: A Space Odyssey to refresh yourself on expected male behavior:

And so I was dressed totally in drab - nice pants, shirt, shoes, etc. - for father's day just in case any of the kids and grandkids stopped by for a visit.

I told my wife, "I dressed this way just for you today."

She said, "I think you look better in a skirt!"

I started laughing at that remark, to which she replied, Well, you do!"

Not something she says, but my wife will often snap my bra strap.

I used to do that to my wife, it alway embarrassed her in the cutest way, then one day we where at the mall, and it was one of the first times I had worn a bra in drab, with her with me. As we where walking across the mall plaza she had her hand on my back, and all of a sudden, snap, she had snapped MY bra strap, I looked around quick, as she smiled at me ands said "what", I turned bright pink, and have never done that to her again!

One time there was a video at Sunday school showing the journeys of St. Paul. There was a statue of a Greek goddess, and my wife reaches over and touches my right breast, and says, "That's you John".

If I don't shave my arms for a couple of days my wife will say,"John, it's time you shaved your arms."

There was a stretch when I was at home and I wore dresses while fixing dinner. My wife has an evening job so she comes home for ready to eat dinner. One time I wore pants, and my wife said,"John, where's your dress? Why are are you wearing pants?"

I like when she does it. To me, that's a sign of affection and acceptance. She makes sure nobody is watching.

My wife suggested that I go and have a "Marybeth" afternoon one day when I was crabby.

Wife and I were out and about and stoped at a rest area. NO family restroom so headed into the womans and she nicely said as we entered "make sure your toes point the right direction!!!" LOL

It is fun when the wife snaps your bra strap. My will snap mine from time to time when we are teasing each other.
