Take a trip to Corpus Christie or to Padre Island and enjoy being the girl you are. Padre island is nice and you should be able to blend right in. Veronnie

Padre Island sounds nice, but if you're interested in staying closer to home, there are some TG friendly clubs - The Room in Spring - not too busy, but friendly staff; and the Ranch Hill Bar on 45. Ranch Hill tends towards a younger crowd, but its very TG accepting. There are a number of other clubs in the Montrose area as well.

What do you want and/or like to do? Why should it be any different if your wardrobe is? If you like fishing, go fishing. If you like shopping, go shopping. Go to museums, go out to eat. It's your vacation, enjoy it!

I guess what I'm saying is that dressing up shouldn't require a list of "gotta do's" to make it complete, somehow. You are you, no matter what you wear. Then again, maybe I'm just not type A enough.

Hi MissyNicole: I don't know how far you want to go or what your budget is but I highly recommend San Francisco. I have been there many times en femme with no problems or issues. It's a wonderful place to visit, lots to see and do.
Las Vegas is also good as far as being an accepting and welcoming place but if you aren't into the casino thing or pricy shows there's not as much of an attraction.
Closer to you, I also would consider my hometown of New Orleans. It's about a 5-6 hour drive from Houston and you shouldn't have any problems going out en femme there.
Best of luck to you in whatever you decide.

Hi! Almost no one is totally passable but the hard part about this is that we don't know your experience level. If this is the first time then the Big Easy is probably a great way to start. If this is just one in a list of times, I would suggest large public venues like a museum or concerts, shopping malls, and also the tg-friendly clubs.

But have fun and let us all know how it goes!

Well Nicole if you would like to travel to Michigan, theres a cute little town called Saugatuck on the big lake. Very transgender friendly. Daviolin

Great question. I wondered about this myself in recent days. I would love to plan a trip like that, all girl all the time. Going full time in my real life is out of the question, but an en femme holiday would be awfully nice. I'd love to hear more suggested destinations and things to do, see.

On a road trip last week, I did go out in Minneapolis one night, having heard that Minneapolis is very friendly. I chose a night when no one else was out, as luck would have it. On the plus side, the girl at the front desk at my hotel didn't bat an eye when I walked through the lobby en femme, just smiled. I smiled back and counted that as a win.

If you just are planning to stay near home just do what an average female might do on a given day off. You mentioned that makeup is a challenge, get a makeup application or lesson at a spa or even a beauty school. This if you have the $$ could be done each day to start so you feel confident in your look. I love going to salons, so that is what I have focused on when I have been in your heels. The TG/CD places are options but I don't find them to be a GG activity. You could window shopor buy stuff, get your nails done or any of the great pampering services salons offer (I love getting my human hair wigs set in rollers or otherwise styled), grocery shop, go to a chick flick, run the usual errands (they will be much more fun enfemme). have fun and do report back, thx Sara. Oh I forgot, ouze envy, green with envy...

Get your makeup done professionally at least once.
Get your nails done; top and bottom.
Come to Dallas. On Mondays some girls get together @ Sue Ellen's in Cedar Springs. Actually Cedar Springs is a good area to go anytime dressed.
Go buy yourself a nice dress. Not expensive but nice.
Sit out back in a bikini.
Drive around and look at your area with "new eyes".
