JLynn,

This is a juicy post. My fantasy no doubt. Sounds like you are going to the party as JLynn...adding some color to their lives too.

I would act like a lady, probably wear a summer type maxi dress or something demure.

Or just be yourself..I am just saying I wouldn't be sexy for them, because its people from your job. Who knows what type of reactions you are going to get, so I would try to remain in control of the situation by keeping sexiness on the sidelines.

Have fun. Its the summertime and the livin is easy♫♫

It's nice to have this kind of acceptance - especially from the boss. Sounds like you are pretty much "out" as being TG at work. Are you planning to transition on the job?

I'm with Noemi when she suggests something feminine but not too sexy.

The pool aspect is a bit more of a poser. I would have been a little wary about sending out mixed signals, although if you don't plan to transition then your suggestion might work.

I agree that it is awesome that you are accepted there. I think that a casual but conservative feminine outfit (shorts and cami, sandals) would be good. And I'd skip the pool scene altogether!

It may be all cool now but just a word of caution, once a homophobe always homophobe. Watch your back down the road because you will be the first to go when push comes to shove.

I second jorgas opinion. Don't go to a company party as Jlynn until you are full time at work. What? are you going to go back to work the next day as joe dude and expect to be taken seriously once you do finally transition? In my opinion you will only be shooting yourself in the foot if you play into some guys off hand suggestions which were probably made for no other reason than his own entertainment.

I have to agree with Aprilrain on this one. If they ask you why, I'd tell them that they are not going to see you in fem mode until the day comes for full transition. Sure, they are curious and want to see you, but in the long run it could be at your expense.

I'm glad it went well for you and I hope it continues to go well. So will you take this opportunity to go full time then?
